Favorite innovative kitchen tool
Love it! I've been looking for something, well, better. We eat a ton of garlic, a clump a week. We LOVE garlic, needless to say. I was looking for a different kind of press, crusher, something. Easier to use was a big aspect, easier to clean was an even bigger part. Plus, it had to look better than the ''ol same 'ol'. After checking out everyone' else's thoughts on the matter: America's Test Kitchen, pro chefs, avid home cooks, I found this rocker. It's pretty darn amazing. I don't buy kitchen items without a lot of reading, watching and investigating. No point being in my very busy kitchen unless it can earn its keep. After all that, I decided I'd do it.I really like this. I can say, 'even a kid can use it', check out YouTube. I know it works as intended. So, the pieces aren't small. But, I have yet to see a problem with that. Plus, as someone mentioned, you just scrape out and re-crushGetting all the bits out of the holes, not hard at all. Not even as much as a mincer. I just use a toothpick, and I actually get all the bits out into my dish, etc.... None left to wash down the sink. And no garlic skin to scrape out of the hopper, was SO tired of that! Plus, having to use the 'special tool' to get bits out of the holes, that comes with most mincers, was ok, but I didn't enjoy it.Cleaning after my toothpick trick is VERY easy. Use a brush, and it's a breeze. It also crushes onion. I found this out as I've been getting over bronchitis and my remedy of crushed garlic, onion and raw honey has been to my rescue. This worked like a breeze. I will mention, this will squirt onion juice out, got in my eye, more funny than a problem. But not even one if you never use it for onion, not much of one if you do.It looks awesome. Love the design.

Size Matters
Our old ginger grater, which my spouse inherited from her mother (who may well have brought it from Japan with her over a half-century ago) had finally dulled with age and needed to be retired.Closely reading the descriptions and reviews of the many, many candidates on Amazon to replace it revealed that ALL of them are pretty damned small.Chose this one since the combination of features (handle, silicone "boot") and price seemed to hit the sweet spot. The verdict: It would certainly be NICE if the dang thing was maybe 25% larger but, given this seems to be the standard these days, we are happy with the choice. It does the job we pay it to do (grate fresh ginger root—something we do a LOT in our kitchen). The silicone boot is a nice touch if/when one wants to rest the grater on a plate or cutting board when using, and it slips off easily for washing up.Recommended.

This is the first "rocker crusher" I have used and I love it! I have always used a standard type of garlic press before. With the rocker crusher, you can easily remove the skin of the clove and then easily crush the clove. (They email you instructions after purchasing.) I now have some arthritis in my hands, and with my old garlic press it was getting very hard to use the press. Also, I would then have to dig out the remainder of the crushed clove from the press, which was an extra step. The rocker crusher is very easy on my hands, and then you simply scrape up all of the crushed clove from the cutting board. I also like the silcone handles: makes it easy to hold onto the crusher, even if my hands are wet.

Awesome
It is a great product and it works very good. The only thing that I found wrong was that the green plastic holders come off easily. Other than that, it is an awesome product.

Me, I find it awkward
Wanted it for grating ginger, but it was less efficient than the ceramic ginger grate I stupidly dropped and broke and am looking to replace.

so simple to use and does such a great job!
I mince fresh garlic everyday. I have 4 dogs and 2 people who all have a serving of it daily.I was using one of those complicated plier like handled models and I dreaded using it. it was so time consuming. I took a chance on this much simpler design figuring I had nothing to lose and I am so glad I did! I am amazed at just how simple it is and yet how perfectly it minces garlic cloves in seconds. It is saving me 10 minutes a day compared to the old plier model. I don't usually go out of my way to write such a detailed review unless I really like a product. I highly recommend this to everyone!

Works
I do like this gadget. It is easy to use, just not as easy to use as the tool that you put the cloves in and squeeze the handles, but it minces just as well. The think I like best is that it won't rust like my squeeze tool did.

Perfect!
This is absolutely perfect for nutmeg. Unlike other graters it will make a super fine nutmeg powder. This makes a huge difference in flavor. I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves good food. Cleans super easy: I use a palm brush for a quick brush down before putting it in the dishwasher. The little silicone strip can easily be removed and put back on. I put it in the cutlery basket of the dishwasher. Shipped super fast too. I am VERY happy with my purchase.

Looks great but doesn’t really work for garlic
Nice concept except it doesn’t work as well as it should. It takes more work than a traditional garlic crusher. Would not recommend.

Excellent. Easy to use
Excellent for some whose grip is not sufficient to use a conventional garlic press
