I've had this monitor for a few days now and what I will tell you is that it is good at just about everything. In terms of performance, I struggle to think of even one thing it does poorly. The colors are vibrant but accurate, and the motion is smooth as silk. Blur is non-existent, and being an OLED, the contrast is perfect. This is easily the smoothest panel I've ever used. Input lag is basically nil. It technically has some small amount of it but it's mostly imperceptible. VRR works exactly as it should. Many OLEDs have a flickering issue when VRR is enabled but I have not observed any flickering on this panel. Text looks good too. I'm using it with a 7900 XTX, and so far the overall experience with this monitor has been fantastic. The only two things I would change about it are I wish you could get it in an even bigger size, and I wish there was a black variant, but neither of those things have anything to do with how it performs. This is truly an end-game type of monitor and worth your consideration if you're looking for a 32:9 UW panel.

Note: If you have vertical banding / differences in colors across the screen, it disappears after a few pixel refreshes / days of use. This thing is a beast. The speakers are surprisingly good for built-ins. Much better than my cheap Logitech stereo pair. I read quite a few negative reviews for the G9, so figured this would be worth the gamble at a much better price of $999. I can’t compare to a G9 as I’ve never seen one in person, but the colors are fantastic. Text clarity isn’t great, but that’s typical of OLED. I do a lot of programming, and I’ve already gotten used to it. Keep in mind this thing is HUGE. My desk is 4 feet wide, and this takes up basically all of it. Pictures don’t do it justice. If you’re coming from a 34” ultrawide, the panel is about the same vertical height but much wider. Ambiglow looks great, and the set colors (fades, solid, etc) look great. But the video sync, where it extends the colors on the edges of the screen out to the wall, is horrible. It’s pretty inaccurate and flickers. Not to mention, there’s a massive (relative) delay of ~1 second from screen to the lights. It sounds small, but it’s pretty jarring. When colors on the screen change quick, the lights always lag behind, and is not a positive experience. This is the biggest issue, and hopefully it can be improved via firmware updates. Otherwise, as I said, the set colors are great and very bright.

I was worried about the text quality for productivity, but on a Mac the text rendering is solid. Sure, it’s not retina but it’s pleasant to read. Obviously superb for media consumption and gaming. This monitor replaces an old Samsung G9 and it’s literal night and day. The visual quality is great, built in speakers are good enough and the connectivity is superb. Firmware is adequate too. I’m gonna give it five stars - if I really wanted to quibble the firmware could be a little nicer but at the end of the day it works and it works well.

its a nice monitor. its just like all the other ones that share the same samsung panel. PROBLEM WITH THIS ONE.. you cannot cancel the pixel refresh!. it does it mandatory every 15 hours no matter what. so you could be in the middle of important work/game/movie and the monitor will turn off for 6 minutes. You cant even set a time that is convenient for you. Philips doesnt care. if you need a monitor that will work when you want.. this is not it.

First off, YES!! Ok. Now that is off my chest. You ever have something that you didn’t know you needed until, well, until you do? That is this monitor. What can I say? I was worried it’d be too big: it’s not. I was worried how it really would look. Would it be like my lg oled tv? Yes, yes it is. I have it on a MacBook Pro m3max and it’s pushing 240hz ON THE USB C CABLE!! Yes, I had to yell that because every forum, usbc hook up allegedly only gets you 60hz. They are wrong. It charges at 90hz and unless I am heavy gaming, the usb c keeps it charged. The picture is gorgeous. Look at those colors and those blacks! The picture is clear, text is clear…it is way more than what I thought it would be. The kvm is great as I had windows and osx on the same screen. I have to figure out the one mouse one keyboard…but that is t a display issue. It has sound. It’s monitor sound. It is not great. It gets you by. The power button is not where other monitors would put it. The stand is a bit big but, it hangs securely off my desk by 2” and no wobble at all. I thought about trying to put it on a wall but nah, just have a 30” deep desk. USB hub works via usb c and display. Not sure about hdmi though. I love this display so much. If you are here reading this, just buy it. No more need to watch 25 YouTube videos for reviews. I’m not sponsored so take it from real people… yes, and just buy it. The more you wait you will regret not buying it earlier. Update: I live it even more. Love the usb hub and picture by picture with a great. I have Mac and anything else side by side as if it’s in its own 27”. Also, audio…attached loose heritage speakers to the monitor and Mac has it easily set as the speaker. I can control now either via Mac, or I can use the monitor remote.
