Good value for the money
Update: I've had this camera as deep as 75' now and no leakage at all in the housing. That said, the video quality is similar to iPhone 3 or iPhone 4. But for $25, it's already paid for itself in capturing memories. My daughter recently completed her scuba certification and so I wanted a cheap underwater camera to document our first official dives. I figured that for $25 this camera was worth a chance. First off, the watertight case is impressive. (Actually, more impressive than the camera!) It took me a bit to figure out how to open the case and there are a few plastic sheet protectors that need to be removed. For the housing lens protector plastic I had to unscrew the decorative black cowling which I thought was odd. Our dives were only to about 20' but there was no leakage at all. (We will be doing deeper dives in a couple weeks and if there are problems I will update this post.) Charging the phone worked fine and the battery lasted for 3 dives without needing to be recharged. The water was murky but the photos were acceptable despite that. One thing I noticed is that with bright sunlight, the image quality improved significantly. The pics I posted are screen caps from the video we shot. The overall video quality reminded me of my old iPhone 3S. It was fairly easy to switch between photo and video mode and turn the camera on/off to conserve battery power. I will say that you need to really firmly depress the shutter button to activate and was the only minor drawback I found. Lastly, to get good pics and video, you need to be conscious of holding the camera steady and pan slowly. I give it 5 stars because for the price it is an excellent value for an entry-level uw camera for kid and family fun.

Good, For the Price
Simple review without technical specs:Video is okay, same with Photos. This is a fixed lens, so you won't be able to get cinematic quality and I doubt your photos will make it on the walls of the MoMA!This is a great beginners action cam. It's easy to use, and comes with a lot of accessories. I have a 2nd gen GoPro, and the accessories for it costed more than this entire bundle. It's fairly durable, too. I dropped it on the floor when I opened the package, and it worked fine. Luckily the camera ships already inside of the waterproof case.

Good for price
The video quality is fine, I’ve had a hard time mounting it on my riding helmet.

Terrible camera
Even for the price, this is a poor quality camera. I’ve owned a few different models of cheap action cams, I use them as a sort of multi-cam setup to record live footage of my band.Of the 4 or five different models I’ve tried, this one has the worst menu setup and one of the worst video quality. The menu is a joke, it is so poorly set up. The video quality is super grainy and clearly upscale badly to 1080p, and the auto-exposure and auto white-balance both jump around super abruptly, making the footage basically unusable. It’s hard to know what you’re going to get with these type of cameras, because so many different models seem to use the same basic housing designs, but the internals can vary greatly. My personal recommendation, if you’re looking for an actual good deal on quality and price, is a camera called the “Speed 20” sold under the company name HiiCam. I have 3 of them and they’re GREAT. I believe of got mine for around Fifty bucks each.

Read review. Honest encounter
This will be an honest review. Listen up!This seemed like a quality product in hand. Built well, seemed sturdy l. Good casing. Everything you’d want in an action oriented camera. But the main problem is what you’re getting the camera for… the quality of picture. It wasent great. It was choppy when looked at and the interface was not the best.Great starter camara for seeing what you want to do and getting some really risky shots MAYBE.3 stars for the sturdiness -2 for the quality, interface and picture of the camera

Remarkably good camera for less than $20 (plus buying a memory card)
The media could not be loaded. This tiny little camera captures really clear photos - I used it both in and out of the water. It doesn't take very long to charge the battery. The biggest complaint I had about it was that it didn't come with a memory card so you'll end up spending an extra $7-$15 buying one - I think the max memory card size this supports is 32gb but that's about a thousand pictures and 9 hours of video so I think you'll be okay. Installing the memory card is very easy. The waterproof case is nice and all the buttons respond well through it.
