PowerBear Samsung Galaxy S4 Battery [2600 mAh] Lithium Ion Replacement Battery

This is much better than the last replacement battery I got, which had the Samsung brand on it. This phone is getting old and seems to use the battery quickly, but this one will last for the work day most of the time. It doesn't heat the phone up like the last one, but does get hot occasionally.I think the solution to the short battery life would be a new phone, but lasting 10 hours instead of 2 is much better than the last one.

I purchased two of these batteries, one for my hubby and one for me for Samsung Galaxy S4. My phone battery was not holding a charge for more than a few hours, and the phone was very sluggish. I followed the charging instruction that came with the battery and have been using it in my for about 24 days. I have had no issues. The battery holds a great charge and depends on how I use my phone as to how long it lasts. Phone performance is also much better switching apps, playing videos and such. The battery fit into my phone just like the original. I would purchase again.

My husband had previously purchased the same battery for his phone and it has worked well for him so when it became obvious I needed a replacement it made the choice easy. I followed the recommendations for first charging and also the next 2-3 times. I don't seem to get the same battery life as my husband. The battery lasts about 8 hours before I need to recharge again. We both have very old Galaxy S4 so there is the potential it is just the state of our phones and not the battery. Right now I am happy to get at least 8 hours considering the old original Samsung battery was dieing at 2-3 hours and even powered down at 85%. Until we can get new phones I will be happy with my Power Bear battery.

"BUYER BEWARE" This battery, after 2 1/2 months will not how a charge. I turned 90% of my apps off and it still went dead after 8 hrs. This battery will not how a charge. I use the original charger that came with my Samsung S4. I will be returning this for credit as I DO want another battery from this company. I will be buying the OEM battery from Verizon Wireless. I know it more money, but at least it will last longer then 2 1/2 months. My OEM battery that is 4 years old, works better then this one, what does that say. BUYER BEWARE. I hope I will not have any problems returning this battery

I purchased this battery to replace the original battery for my Galaxy S4 and for the first 8 months or so it was excellent. For the last couple of months the battery started to drain faster and faster until this week it only last for an hour or so with a full charge when streaming video. As of this morning the battery no longer hold charge. It lasted about 11 months. Since it has a 2 year warranty I am hoping I can get a replacement quickly from PowerBear since I can't use my phone without plugging it in.12/14/17 update:Sent and email to PowerBear Customer Service and after a couple of email exchanges I received my replacement battery today. Very happy that PowerBear honored the warranty. Thank you!!!

Although you lose NFC capabilities, this battery delivers solid performance!I use my older S4 Active for my MTB rides: using GPS to track ride and Amazon to listen to my music, my OEM battery (and another "factory" replacement battery) would barely make it to the end of my rides (maybe 30% left on average). However, this battery holds a solid charge... after a couple ~3 hour events, this battery held to just above 60%.I will note that this battery (labeled as a replacement for the S4), had an extremely tight fit into my S4 ACTIVE phone. I utilized a nail file to take off a little plastic on one of the corners and no issues (no more material than when someone would file their nails).

I followed the instructions with the battery. I charged it 100% and let it run to zero to charge it again a coupe of times per instructions. That was 1 day and a half ago and I still have about 35 % of power left. I have used the phone normally and even watched videos. So far I can only express my surprise about this battery going beyond my expectations. Even after being outside in a 100 degree temperature, the phone never got hot as it was the case with the factory battery. I will certainly recommend this battery as it delivers what it claims and even more. I will order for my other phone in the near future and recommend it to others. Pisico1

It only lasted 2 months. Price is right, lifetime of battery = very poor. Fresh off the charger, it works about 5 minutes.The battery it was to replace still works better than the new one. I see that this battery is no longer available, as of March 9, 2017. Good! No more victims.

I bought this battery for my old Galaxy S4. After installing it and going through the process of calibrating it three times, it seems like a new phone again.It was a good choice and the reviews helped me to make the decision.
