Making jerky at home isn't hard, and is a better value than buying even store brand jerky. This gun enables you to use the cheapest and easiest method of making jerky, and thats using ground meat, usually hamburger, but other meats as well.This gun is made of high quality materials and feels very solid. Works very smoothly and is much easier than the cheap one you might have gotten with your dehydrator. The motion is very precise and it is never difficult to squeeze. Cleaning is very easy. I would say that it holds more than 1lb of meat which means less work and less time.Buy at least 90% lean burger, mix with a premade mix, or mix up your own with soy sauce/Braggs Liquid Aminos and garlic and onion powder. 5lbs of burger turns into about 2lbs (32 ounces) of jerky.

I'm so impressed with this jerky gun kit for the price The build and durability is commercial grade - everything is heavy stainless steel and has solid threads for easy assembly and disassembly. I have had zero structural or mechanical issues after dozens of uses. Cleaning is so much easier than I expected because everything disassembles so you can get the included brush through the tube to fully clean it. I separate and hand wash all components then run them all in my dishwasher for sterilization and final wash. Recommend to load the main tube on the bottom rack and with a slight tilt so water sprays inside of it and drains out.Every tip is useful for extruding jerky of your desired shape.

The biggest problem this as with any food handling tool is clean up, but it came with the proper brushes and clean up wasn't that bad. Most videos showing you to use will have you roll the meat up into a ball and drop it in the tube. I used an ice cream scoop, the type that has the little thumb ejector. That worked great as I was able to keep my hands clean while using it. It was easy pushing the ground meat through the double tube nozzle and made the process of making ground beef jerky quicker. I would recommend this to anyone.

The gun was pretty easy to use but it took a little trial and error to figure out how to pull back the plunger to refill it each time without unscrewing it each time. The double barrel tools don't exactly allow you to create consistent sticks of jerky but that's ok. The flat tool and the long tool worked the best for me and what I am needing. I would say it's mostly easy to clean but as other reviewers said a lot of meat is left inside the attachments, but don't worry I don't waste a thing. I just push it out with chop sticks and put it on my dehydrator. It doesn't have to be pretty, it's still edible. I would suggest creating tampers that can be used in the attachments to continue to push the meat out for continuity. Not everyone has chop sticks or long skinny flat items in their kitchens to try to get all of the left over meat. I didn't mix my deer meat with pork and it was a course ground meat and I didn't have the issue of meat squeezing out of the cracks but there was a little juice and blood dripping out. I would purchase it again, but maybe the larger size just for convenience and time sake.

Solid build quality. The all metal jerky gun worked perfectly out of the box. It requires no force to operate and was very smooth. Used it to make 20 lbs of sausage, snack sticks and jerky right away. It was easy to assemble, easy to fill any easy to use. I don't think it really holds 2 lbs but it's heavy enough when full that it's probably a good thing. It included every possible nozzle you would ever want, brushes, caps and even a storage bag. I hope to use this for years to come. Great investment.

I was AMAZED at the good old-fashioned, extra heavy-duty quality and engineering design of this jerky gun!! It makes a joke out of most other brands I've seen before, that basically amount to toys.It's easy to use, easy to clean, functions beautifully, and squeezes with almost no effort at all. It works so efficiently that it empties quickly, but I am still glad I got the regular size (~1 lb.) because I suspect it's easier to fully load than the longer tube might be. It's just not that hard to do! I am SO glad I chose this brand and model! THANK YOU for a SUPERIOR QUALITY product!

I was looking for a durable gun that was easy to clean and that gave me options for jerky size/types. I also wanted one with some proven background (aka good reviews). I purchased this one after hours of reading different product's reviews and have been very pleased. The clean up is truly easy because of the brushes that are perfectly fitted to the parts. Since the gun is metal and not plastic, it's easier to clean meat from its parts. The gun feels sturdy and the steel attachments work very well. I love the small round jerky attachment best (sort of like slim-jims). The meat flow from the attachment is steady and consistent, no air pockets or blobs that rush out messing up your jerky. I didn't use the recipe in the guide, but found one online I thought I'd like better..and it was PERFECT! The jerky has been perfect every time I've used it..4 times so far! I'm very glad I went with this one and not another. I'll keep it forever, I'm sure! Thanks for delivering a great product! I'm very satisfied with the whole thing!

I have never done jerky before, but I figured I had a bunch of ground venison and I would try it. Holy cow it is easy! I used the nozzle with the one hole that is wide, and it was super easy (double is a bit tricky). The tube holds 1 lb, and all I did was mix the ground venison and seasoning and shot it on to some silicone sheets that are made for dehydrators, put it in a smoker, several hours later I had the perfect jerky. It is easy to clean also, with just soap and water. this thing is surprisingly sturdy, if you know how to use a caulk gun, you will not have any problems with this. I will say, follow the directions! Just roll up the balls of meat and put them in, then start pressing it down. Take your time, and I did find that when you shoot it out and get to the end, just take a knife and cut along the edge. I made five different types, and my friends said it is the best venison jerky they've ever had. Again, the best thing about this one is it is metal, and no plastic.

I just used it for the first time, my hamburger was straight out of the fridge nice and cold, I sprayed the inside the gun with Pam loaded it up and it worked flawlessly, I never used one of these before and it look like I was a pro at it, it is that easy to use. I did 5 and a half trays in about 20 minutes, and half of that time was spent loading it!!The gun is stainless and well constructed and probably will be around longer than me!If you're into Hamburger Jerky, I recommend this kit. It works awesome!!

I had 4lbs of meat all mixed up and ready to go. The jerky gun I had originally ordered didn’t make it on time, so rather than waste the meat I went to the local hardware store and bought a “cheap” one. It was still $69.99 for a literal cheap piece of crap. I decided to order a better one and chose this one. Boy am I glad I did!!The trigger is easy to push, very smooth. The tips are bigger than the other one too, the sticks being the diameter of ones you would buy in the store. It’s super easy to clean with the included brushes, and the variety of tips, the fact it does two sticks or two strips at once really saves a ton of time. Everything about it is superior to the plastic one I got here. I am very impressed, and after humming and hawing about whether I was going to keep it or refuse delivery - I’m glad I kept it!! I’ve turned 20lbs of ground beef into jerky in the past week, it’s worked hard and is still like new.I definitely recommend this product!

Really easy to use, and easy to clean. Feels solid and well built, Made short work of turning 1Kg of mince into jerky strips. Worth the wait and price. Comes with a storage bag to eep everything together.

Was pleasently surprised on the quality of this product. I was kind of expecting flimsy tube and plastic. But it is actually quite sturdy, solid and feels solid.Used it about three times since I ordered it and used several tips. Every time, it worked really well. Easy to clean.I strongly recommend this to anyone looking to squeez some meat into Jerky.
