No Don’t leave the cast iron vent outside It will rust

It should, I bought it for my Medium Egg. It fits perfectly. The inside diameter is 14.5. It is possible you may need to get the cover for the Large Egg. I think I bought it on amazon, but not sure. Just google your Egg size with the cover. if your not sure, the Big Green Egg website would have it and tell you the correct one to get.
