Wiley Wallaby Australian Gourmet Style Red Licorice Candy 32 Oz. 2 LB (Original Version)

I love licorice. Red or black or now, even grape. Instead of buying a few smaller bags at Kroger's, I tried this brand online. The product arrived quickly (I was out of licorice completely and having the shakes), is well packaged for freshness; the bag top can be closed and reopened easily and repeatedly (if you can limit how much of this you eat at a time). The licorice has really deep flavor and arrived totally fresh. The licorice is cut in lengths of about 1 1/2 inches and is the size of my index finger around. Big chunks of licorice. The problem: I want to eat the whole bag; it's just that good for us licorice dudes. 32 ounces just isn't enough and $15 bucks a bag is too costly to dive through a bag of this over a football game. The licorice is well worth the cost, though. It's just great. I do wish it cost a bit less, but I'm ordering another bag and training myself on smaller portions. Buy this product. It rates a 5 across the board.

Purchased this 2lb bag of red licorice for my wife. A couple weeks ago, I bought a few 5oz boxes of store brand sold on Amazon. She said those tasted and felt like wax. I will leave the brand name out. Definitely get what you pay for! Ordered these, which arrived yesterday. Opened the bag to present to my wife as a surprise and due to the fact that she ate the previous waxy brand. As soon as I opened this product bag, a sweet cherry flavor hit my nose. Then I looked in the bag and noticed these thick chunks of licorice. Just had to try 1 as the appearance was amazing. I have only eaten licorice of any kind a few times, just not my thing. However, after 1 bite of these, I ate 3 more, then took them in the living room and gave bag to my wife. She ate 1 and told me how good they are. Told her that it is all in the price. Ordered a 2nd bag in case she wolfs thru the first bag to soon!
