pros:Heavy and sturdy sword. This sword is thicker than I thought. The blade also is mirror polish. The handle and hand guard did not rattle. Perfect sword length for a 5ft 6in guy when I hung the sword on my waist. I was able to 2 handed the sword due to long handle. The damascus pattern could still be seen after sharpening the sword. Its a deadly sword after sharpening it to almost razor sharp.cons: It did not come sharp. The blade came covered in oil to prevent rust so I had to remove the oil before I can sharpen the blade. Took me several hours to sharpen the sword due to balancing the sword while sharpening it and trying to get a consistent sharp edge. parts of the minor decorations on scabbard fell off during delivery. The paint on scabbard and pommel sword was not well painted. I felt like all the details of the sword(except for the blade itself) was made with little care to quality.Overall the sword is okay. If you look past all the cheap scabbard,pommel, blunt edge and bad paint job the sword is an okay value due to the good quality of the blade itself.

Ok so initial reaction. The material meets the discription provided. It is damascus steel and appears to be be the right hardness for 1060 though i'm not gonna test it chemically. The blade is "sword sharp" meaning about as sharp ad a historical sword, but not razors level. I did take a knock off for the ornamentation. They are beautiful but not one hundred percent consistent.

Bought this for my son. He loves it. Amazing craftsmanship. Downsize, the foam was hard to get off and made a huge mess. :)

It looks good. If you just want to decorate your house, it is good.

The Headline says it all. I was surprised at the quality for the price. It also was delivered 2 weeks before it was expected. I'll definitely be doing business with them again.
