Not enough bass but sound is very pure otherwise
The unit is light on bass. I don't like thumping bass, but I want the bass that is part of the normal listening experience. I wish that it had a bass boost or equalizer presets to use. Bluetooth was very easy to connect. Some songs sounded perfect, but most sounded too bright with treble and lacking bass. Now, here is why you should consider buying: it has a tf card slot. I stuck a micro sd card in there that was loaded with music, and it played for hours. Turn it off and turn it back on, and it re-starts the most recent song. It seems to play the songs in the order that they were loaded on to the card. I listened for about 7 hours and did not run out of battery at 3/4 volume. If I want to pick what song to hear, I'll have to use the bluetooth. But if I just want to hear my music one album at a time with no choice, I'll use the memory card. It sounds better and I don't have to touch it for hours to keep the music playing. The sound is very pure and free of distortion.

quality product for good price, intelligent device pairs quickly
I had a Photive Cyren purple speaker I purchased a number of years ago which performed very good... It died, and I was in the market for another. The Photive cost me $40 and was a great performer with powerful lows. This speaker is a very good buy, it is easy to use, and has differentiated buttons for control of playback, and volume adjustment. I am happy with this purchase, but it does not have the same speaker umph as the Photive I used to have. It serves it's purpose well enough... I cannot confirm all the details about it such as 12hr playback, but overall I am happy with this buy. Portable tunes!

It is solid while it lasts
I purchased this robust little Bluetooth speaker system along with a disco ball in 2018, to propose to my now-wife. For the past 2½ years, it held up extraordinarily well, without any form of degradation. Unfortunately, when it did fall apart, it happened quickly; the plug-in component melted down and came loose over a short time period, making the device effectively inoperable. It was good while it lasted!
