45 Colt/45 Winchester Arbors

the item is not the most common, worked great with a very light mod with the grinder. you cant beat this system for being versatile with all the different arbors to choose from.

Fitment of the bore sight in this arbor was far too tight. The back cap stuck out too far to close the cylinder on my revolver, until I beat on it with a hammer. Then the bore sight stopped working. Go figure.

The laser light fits perfectly in this arbor; and fits nicely in a Taurus Judge pistol or Circuit Judge rifle.The only problem I had with the laser light was due to the side holes, which emitted light from the barrel in addition to the centered bead of light itself.My weapons were clean and shinny inside. The laser should work better in a dirty pistol, rifle, or shotgun if sighting in at 25 yds. I noticed that competor brand laser lights have similar side holes.The arbor itself is wonderful; and the price of ths AimShot product is reasonabe, and lower priced than most competitive models of boresighter housings.I would recommend this product. Just sight in from a good distance to avoid the residual light from those holes. Attach a round reflector or reflective stick-on to the center of the target ifshooting out to 100 yds. in heavy sunlight. The laser will light up the target's center and easily pinpoint your shots.

Helped to minimize the amount of ammo used in sighting in my Raging Judge Mag and my S&W 460 mag. Both can/do shoot the 45LC

Battery died in less than 3 minutes replaced batteries with new & same thing happened they died also

Did not get to use in 45 colt but to make an arbor for 410 shotgun. Could no find arbor for 410 but only had to remove 0.005 inch along length of body and it worked fine. Did not have a lathe to turn arbor but made a holder and spun in drill press and worked down with 10 inch smooth cut file. Since there is a pistol that shoots both a 45 long colt and 410 I new they had to be very close in case diameter and they were and it works fine.

Item did not let me rotate the cylinder on my revolver after I inserted the Aimshot 30 Carbine Laser Boresight waiting for a call back from the seller to try and exchange it.

Aimshot 45 Colt/45 Winchester Arbors  with the  Aimshot 30 Carbine Laser Boresight  greatly assisted my zeroing the Optical device on my S&W 460 xvr. Batteries run down quickly go buy extra if using on more than one similar caliber weapon.
