Excellent Orbit Customer Service
Initial delivered unit had a leaky flow control valve. Contacted Orbit and their excellent warranty service sent me a new unit. Their customer service guy stayed on the phone with me until all of the warranty paperwork had been filled out correctly and I received the replacement unit several days later at zero cost to me.

Worked out of the box
This let me repair a 25 year-old valve on my property with minimal effort. It was very easy to install and wire up. It is still working correctly with no leaks after several months.

Easier than full valve replacement, but doesn't seem to last as long
Workable alternative to replacing the entire valve assembly. It does not seem to last as long as a totally new valve, though you can buy replacement diaphragms. Leaking eventually becomes an issue.

Same quality, low price.
I have an old house with too many of these valves. They can last for 10-20 years, but at this price I don’t mind changing them. They cost over double at my local hardware.

Easy replacement for old brass control heads
This is a much more economical option to replacing the entire brass valve body on my Superior 3/4" valves. Installation was easy and they work well. I doubt I'll get 25+ years of services from these, but I think they are still a good value.

Not as good as they once were…
Used to be a great product. The older style of products lasted at least three to four years but now lucky enough to get one season out of them. This is my 6th order in the last three years. Will probably check to see how much to upgrade the system to newer tech. These ones just aren’t as good anymore…
