Good for replacing broken port on printer

Worked for what I needed
I recently encountered a problem with the USB port on my Carbide 3D board. Despite my best efforts to troubleshoot the issue, I quickly realized that I needed to replace the faulty port. After some research, I was able to locate a new USB port that was compatible with my board and decided to try my hand at the repair myself.The process of replacing the USB port was not without its challenges - I had to carefully remove the old port and solder the new one in place. However, with patience and attention to detail, I was able to successfully complete the repair.Now, I'm thrilled to say that my Carbide 3D board is back in working order and the new USB port is functioning flawlessly. Good quality replacement parts
I didn't even need that many, but for some reason it was actually more expensive to get a single piece than getting this 10 pack. Go figure. Anyway, it works good, the fix of my audio interface went well thanks to this.

Exact replacement
My 49 key MIDI keyboard fell off my keyboard stand and landed on the USB cable coming out the back of it. This broke the center post of the USB port. I ordered this, opened the keyboard up, unsoldered the broken USB port and soldered in this new one. It was a direct, drop-in replacement. After I buttoned everything back up, it now works like nothing ever happened. Talk about a money saver!
