Seems very good (for the price).For the light to work - mine came with 4 batteries. Pull the light out of the knife (it's held in by a magnet - other review said it falls out but stays put for me). Unscrew it, bang the open tube on a table to get the stack of 4 batteries out, remove little plastic disc preventing battery contact. Put the batteries back in with the larger side facing into the tube (smaller battery end facing up), screw light back into tube. Light turns on by screwing in tighter, so back it off when not in use. Flint stick is at the opposite end, in the same part, as the light. It friction fits into the barrel of the knife.

I really like this knife. I haven't used it a lot, but I suspect that I will need to re-tighten the screws on it from time to time. That's what I found to be the case on several other inexpensive knives that I've purchased on Amazon. No big deal if you catch loose screws in time. I saw one negative review complaining they couldn't get the flashlight working. I too, had a heck of a time getting it to work. I had to remove all 4 batteries and put them back in (quite a chore), before it would work correctly. My main complaint is the horribly cheap pouch. It's almost paper thin and too big for the knife. So I bought the Red Deer Folding Pocket Knife Genuine Leather Pouch Case for $10 on Amazon and found it to fit perfectly. Now I'm VERY happy with this knife and its new sheaf.

Knife is hella good, and the led light is super good. Take off the plastic and make the spring on it face the smaller piece of metal of the 4 batteries and you’re good. Blade is hella sharp too. Sliced cardboard like butter. USMC approves 💁🏾‍♂️

If only the flashlight worked..... I removed the plastic piece as noted in the product description but still doesn't work. Will change the review to 5 stars if I ever figure it out.

On Aug. 7, 2018 I ordered and received this 6 in 1 tactical knife. The knife had a flashlight attachment that never worked. I was hoping to receiving a replacement light but never did. Shortly thereafter I received in the mail a box containing a smaller box to put the knife in and a cloth sheath for the knife. I returned the knife but never received a credit or replacement knife. If this can be corrected, fine. I realize a lot of time has passed, so thank you either way.

Purchase was for a gift but when I opened the package to see the knife before I wrapped it I noticed the flash light didn’t work and the fire starter had corrosion on it I’m not sure where that was from.

Pretty nice and sturdy, I have these in my car for utility use and hopefully I never need to use the glass cutter, but just in case.

What’s the battery size and how many is needed to have the LED light working? Other than that this item is good thank you.
