Is your pit still thirsty cause all of the water from his bowl has splashed everywhere but into his mouth? I've been looking for something like this for so long and so happy to have found it! Works like a charm, no more huge puddles everywhere and the height makes it easy to not have to use a shelf too. So easy to clean, so easy to refill and barely any any drops. If there are, it's because he stopped midway after seeing a squirrel enter peripheral. I would have given it 5 stars if it was a bit more deep to hold more water. But that's not entirely fair since our pit drinks tons of water cause of his old age medicine.

This thing is a godsend! We have a giant schnauzer with a huge full beard, and I can't tell you how often I've been woken up or startled by drippy kisses, or ended up with soggy socks from stepping in the trails of puddles he'd leave in his wake after getting a drink. It took him like 15 seconds to figure out this bowl, and his beard barely had a drop of water attached. It seems well made and is certainly more modern and attractive than a lot of the options available. If I could give 6 stars I would. I'm buying this for all my dog loving family and friends next Christmas!

This product works as described, the inner part floats in the center, exposing a small amount of water, so it doesn't splash over the side when the dog drinks, and sinks as the water level does. This works for my well behaved older dog who splashes a little.For my 8 month old messy and rambunctious puppies, for whom I bought this product, it didn't work so well. When one of the puppies saw me place the inner piece in the center and she realized they were separate pieces, she picked it up and ran off with the center piece, spilling water everwhere. I replaced it, and an hour later, she had done the same thing again and pulled the silicone gasket off and was chewing on it.

The best $30 I’ve ever spent! Our dog used to drink water on the side of her bowl and would splash so much water over the edge! We would have to keep a beach towel under her bowl. Now the floor is bone dry! It took a few days for her to get the hang of this bowl but we just opened the floating disk and put a bit of water in it so that it only kind of floated and more water sat on top of the disk. This helped her realize there was water below the disk and after a few days we just emptied the disk and she was able to drink from the bowl no problem. I looked at a lot of similar dishes and I like this one a lot because the floating disk can be opened and cleaned. In a lot of the reviews I read on other bowls people complained that the floating disk grew mold inside of it, this one is easy to clean so that can be prevented. Great product!

Bowl is a nice design. Does help with splashing. Pit bull using the inner fancy device causes more splashing, so not using it. Overpriced, I think, but nice bowl and stand.

It does prevent my pooch from drinking too much too fast so no more throwing up water, but he's still able to make a mess that I have to clean up behind him.

I thought that wet floors were just a fact of life with dog ownership. I thought there would be a severe learning curve, and maybe one of my dogs wouldn't catch on. I was wrong on both accounts. The bowl is perfection. It's such a simple design. All 3 of my dogs took to it within minutes. I am just in shock that I can walk past the dog bowls now and not get wet socks.
