works great
I have a few windows that the screens were out of when I moved in where I am (renting). The screens that are supposed to be used did/do not have the clips on them already like the others do. So, I found this item and bought the 4 count package (I have two windows I want to put the screens into).Used two for the screen going into the window in the second bedroom/office and they work great. Previously I had a window AC in there in the summer/hot months, but then couldn't use it during the months where that wasn't in place. Now I have a portable AC in that room (same BTU size/rating) and I needed a screen in there. I can also now remove the vent hose assembly from the window and use it as a regular window easily. I'll probably switch which window I put the AC into next season since this window is in a better position for me when I'm using my desk. :)These are also easy to use. Simply spread a little if you need to get them on the screen frame. Get into position and squeeze until tight. Then place the included screws where needed to secure the screen. If you're lucky, you'll have posts from previous setups there that you can slide these to the right position to use. I didn't even try that since those were too far away for use. Plus, I spaced these closer to the ends (about 6-9" from either end) of the frame.

Fit the bottoms of my window screens perfectly.
Needed lift tabs for window screens that never had them in the first place. I glued them on with 6000 glue. Makes it easier to lift the screens out and reinstall them. Would have cost a lot more money if I had a screen repair shop install them.

OK, but very soft, flimsy metal
I had to find tiny screws to attach because these wouldn't stay on before re-installing screen because metal on these screen clips is so soft and flimsy, and the first hook bent while trying to put over screwed-in post.

Does a great job
Was not sure these would do the job. Screens are now secure and easy to remove

Worked like a charm!
The screen washing machine that our contractor used apparently 'ate' a couple of the screens' clips. These were just what I needed to replace them.

Quality Screen Clips, Look Different Than Pictured
These are great screen clips at a fair price. I'm sure I could find cheaper ones at a hardware store, but it's more convenient to get them online. The ones I received do look different than the picture - the part that attaches to the screw is a triangular shape. This doesn't bother me, but I wanted to point it out.Depending on the size of your screens, it may take more than one person to install these. My screens are about 5 ft high by 3 ft wide, so it helps to have help to hold the screen while you slide them in, though I was able to do it myself after several tries.
