Does this contain a frame? I don't want one flopping about on my back

Hello Roger,no there is no frame ,just a large 100 litre holdall with 2 side pockets and bottom of bag has zipped pocket containing back straps for carrying it attached like an army backpack.I don't use these however ,and only use regular strap and handles.This is my second one of these bags and I just use them as tool holdalls,which they excel at in my opinions.
