Remembering the way Doctors had time to care for their patients
Iβm loving watching βDoctor Finlayβ and the Scottish countryside, but most of all I really like the fact itβs set in the late 1940βs when the National Health Service was just starting.

An old favourite.
It was terrific to be able to watch this most enjoyable series again. Clear dialogue, good story lines and a refreshing look at life without the all-too-familiar current trends of foul language not to mention political and environmental issues being inserted into programmes.

Brilliant series
Wonderful series - beautifully filmed and well acted. Themes represent the challenges of everyday life in a post war Scottish town.

A Good Series.
A Good Series made many years ago. And good value for money re the amount of discs. We have put off buying this set for a while thinking picture quality could be an issue, but just purchased the brilliant Sony BDP-S6700 3D 4K upscaling DVD player which has given new life to all our DVDs. The upscaling element of the Sony is outstanding.
