Bought these as a Christmas gift for my son and he LOVED them! We love their size and how durable they are! We’ve had them for 2 months and they are still his favorite! Great quality and realistic!

Can’t go wrong with jumbo animals! Pretty pricey but “you get what you pay for” in the quality. Very sturdy and solid. Has held up terrific against my 2 small “toddler tornados”. Ive bought almost every jumbo animals set from learning resources, and haven’t been disappointed yet. If you’re looking for realistic animals to help teach your kids their animals, these toys are top quality and last. We’ve had other sets for 2+ years with nothing breaking from rough play, or getting dull from bath time yet. 10/10. Worth the bigger price tag vs cheap Walmart or target toys that are similar!

It was difficult to find farm animals for infants that are not choking hazards. We are giving these to our son for his first Christmas. The quality of the animals is fine. Not stellar, the paint is a little funny in places, and you can see the neck seams on a few of the animals. All of the animals in our set stand up just fine except for the sheep which can stand up but leans a little bit. We like that the animals are scaled--the horse is the biggest and the rooster is the smallest. (Although since the rooster is small, he won't be able to play with that unsupervised--choking hazard). We think our son will have lots of fun playing with these animals. They seem very durable. We like them and are glad that we purchased them.

I ordered these for my 2 year old for her birthday. She loves animals and I thought she would like these. She loves them (and the Ocean Set too) and has created many games for them. I am not sure what all the complaints are about. These animals are beautiful and very lifelike (Ok, the horse's head is a little small BUT he does stand up). She plays with them in the tub, in the sandbox, outside, inside- everywhere. She has no trouble holding them and there is nothing to worry about breaking off. I am so pleased with this set, I plan on getting many of the other sets to expand her collection and use them in conjunction with her World Map play carpet. I am pleased with Learning Resources as a company over all. The only drawbacks: They do have a very heavy chemical smell upon opening. I washed them and it was gone. The other is the descriptions said 2+, but when we got the actual box it said 3+.

"Learning Resources Jumbo Farm Animals" is a wonderful set of farm animals - except for the fact all but the goose and rooster appear to have been guillotined and then had their heads re-attached. The distinct mold line around the larger animals' necks is the only flaw adults will find in this set - toddlers pay no attention to that minor detail. The fact that the seam line is not rough or sharp saved this set a star - had the seams been sharp, excessively prominent, or rough, I would have downgraded the rating. Realistic in proportion and detail, the Learning Resources Jumbo Farm Animals set includes several barnyard creatures that are not found in smaller farm animal sets. The addition of the goat, duck, and rooster, instead of a hen, add variety to your little one's livestock. The horse, which is the largest animal, is about 8" tall; other animals are sized appropriately to realistically approximate real-life proportions. The animals are done in true-to-life colors, are sturdy, and, with the exception of the neck mold-line, nicely finished. With no regard to size differences, my grandzson has happily incorporated these animals into his Little People Farm Set. The Learning Resources Jumbo Farm Animal set is currently his favorite toy and has been since he received it as a Christmas gift. It is well worth the price; like others, I wish Learning Resources had a wild animal set as I would purchase it as well. You will not be disappointed if you decide to purchase the Learning Resources Jumbo Farm Animal set. This is a 5-star item.

I bought these a year ago for my daughter who is now turning 3. This is one of the few toys that has really stood the test of time, play-wise. They had a long stint as bath toys, and although my husband had to drill a a few holes in the bottom for the water to drain out, they are still going strong. I think the size of these (compared to Toobs and toys of that size) appeals to kids and is more in line with their dexterity at this age. Also their size is compatible with wooden blocks and legos for building farms and gates. They are lifelike (not cartoonish) and extremely durable. I really don't see what all the fuss is about regarding moldings and joins and ours all stand. I am now buying a set for my niece. Not many toys keep their play value throughout the rapid development of the toddler years, and this is one of them.
