Truly Stunning
This book is truly stunning. It is the best written, most informative book that I have read on the topic of microgreens- growing nutrient packed greens. It is well suited for both the home grower and commercial grower. The recipes are excellent and will make your mouth water. The photography is breathtaking and captures the vitality of this living, nutrient packed food that is easily grown in a small space within a short period of time. The authors are to be congratulated on producing such a superb work that is truly as enjoyable to read as it is practical and informative.

Good
I found the book to be informative, and with vivid pictures. The descriptions and information on individual micros is well written. This is an excellent value. I just wanted a little more. Maybe a book 2??

Solid
A good comprehensive overview of the process and important factors that contribute to successful execution. Also addresses in good detail composting and even vermicomposting! The folk that wrote this book care about the overall picture of growing great plants while maintaining soil fertility. Philosophies seem to aline.

Well written and Informative
I give it three stars because I was expecting more specific information on micro greens health benefits; and what specific plants offer in the way of specific nutrients, etc. Also, since micro greens are often baby or younger versions of greens, it would have been helpful if there were comparative taste information between various baby and mature greens. IOver all, the book is slickly done and the general information offered is well written.

A Real Guide To Growing Microgreens
This is a really important book with key advice on starting to grow microgreens. I had been been growing microgreens for about a year before buying the book and I found many points in the guide of which I was unaware and improvements to make in what I have experienced. It is thorough and to the point.

good basic book--mostly well organized.
The specific info on different crops is good. The step-by step could be just a bit clearer. I was already sold on the idea, so I didn't need as much of the introductory hype, but lots of people probably do, so it's probably ok.

Important information
How to raise most (if not all) the nutrients we need in a small space without much expense? There are few living conditions that cannot support the type of gardening or farming taught by this author. I have a friend who has 40 acres, but her chickens eat her garden, so she can't grow outside. So she's got the recommended containers in her home in front of windows and under skylights. Granted, her dog ocasionally steps in the dandelion tray, but she made a killer salad for me from the greens growing by the back door, all grown as instructed by this great book.
