Has everything you need - Not much Room for Cables
I bought 2 of these for my Home Theater Room. One sits behind a false wall with 3- 12ga CL2 rated speaker wire win it and a CL2 rated subwoofer cable (both made by monoprice). The other, is in the ceiling by the projector feeding a CL2 rated HDMI cable and and IR extension cable. Although everything fits in this wallplate, the one behind the false wall is pretty snug. I personally wouldn't put anything else in it. So if you need a lot more room for cables, you might want to try the Datacom 45-0001 -BK.As far as build quality, the outlet is great. I love the wings that extend. As you tighten the box, it'll clamp right onto the drywall. The package also provides a drywall template, so you can cut a hole wherever you need the box. There is no need for anything else. Everything you need (minus what you cut the drywall with) is int he package.

Goodbye hanging loose wires! Hello floating TV!
Since we wall mounted our TV, there was just no way to hide the wires hanging behind the tv. We tried to minimize the cables running to our TV by running most of our auxiliaries into the receiver, but we still were left with one power cord, and one HDMI cable hanging down, and YES it still bothered us. I felt the cables hanging were taking away from the beautiful floating effect of the tv.We found these plates on Amazon which were a perfect solution for us. With these plates, we can run the cables into a hole in the wall behind the tv, and the cables will come out again by the baseboard where they can be plugged in. Install was a breeze, and the directions came with a template so we knew where to cut on the wall. The hubby installed these plates withing 15 minutes, and ran the cables behind the wall. Tah Dah! Problem solved!

Closest product I could find to cover a rough opening, but had to use a hacksaw
I have looked everywhere for a wall plate to cover a rough cut 2" hole where my entertainment system wires come out of the sheetrock. This is the only one I could find that does not require enlarging the hole. However, I had to take a hacksaw and cut off all the stuff sticking out of the back of the plate (the "wings" and a box going around the perimeter). After cutting, I reused the two screws and screwed the now flat plate directly on top of the sheetrock, and voila - have a nice looking way for my wires to come out of the wall. Wish there was something better on the market, but this did the trick.

Great at removing moisture from air, but control system is lacking
I purchased 2 of these, in hopes that the "24 hour timer" was programmable. I wanted to run one of them for 12 hours, and shut off for 12 hours, while the other was on an opposite schedule. Sadly, this is just not possible with these machines.I drilled drain holes through my CMU to the exterior so I could basically program these and forget about it - but the control system needs to be manually set every day. There is no debate that this system lowers RH; it does a great job at that. But having to manually program each of them everyday is just not a great solution. If you regularly go out of town and want these running, its either all day or nothing at all.I suggest paying a bit more and going with one of the units that allows the timing system to be programmed.

Decent strength. Careful of screw tabs
Screw tab was broken on the first one. Requested replacement, arrived within 3 days. Screw tabs don’t seem very strong, but worth it for the price
