tl;dr Easy install and just what I needed. Can’t yet speak to longevity, but I am hopeful!Background: I live in a condo in NYC. About a month ago, we had a new neighbor move in... The next day, we saw a cockroach (for the first time) in our apartment. My hope is that the cockroach got in with their boxes.... Still, knowing what they say about seeing a cockroach during the day, I was horrified. I immediately went to Home Depot and got spray, poison traps, and two different door sweeps to try (because our front door has about a half inch gap on the bottom and I didn’t want to take any more risks). One door sweep (rubber self-stick) was not usable because it required a saw to trim to size. The other - a double draft stop that slides under the door and has two foam rolls on each side - was inconvenient because we had to bend down and lift it over the rug every time we opened the door. Searching for an alternative, I found this and thought it’d be the perfect solution!Installation: I finally got around to “installing” this - though installing seems like a weird word. It was very easy, contrary to many of the reviews I had read that made it seem nearly impossible. One person can easily install this within 5 minutes. Just take your time and be gentle pealing the back.In use: As you can see in the pictures, it fills the huge gap nicely. It’s been less than 24 hours since installing and I’ve only opened the door a handful of times, so I can’t speak to the stay-power of the adhesive or overall longevity of the product. But I am very hopeful because it is exactly what I need... so fingers crossed! As for noise reduction, it’s hard to say how well this product reduces outside noise, if at all. I feel like it may help a bit, but definitely nothing extraordinary.I will update my review regarding longevity as required.

Easily to install with strong adhesion that holds. It does flatten down after awhile so may not be as a good a seal as in the beginning but so far so good after several months. Cheap enough to replace if needed.

The adhesive glue is not very strong since having wood flooring is a plus i just used a couple of screws and did the trick door is now sealed completely from the bottom fit tight .

This product is garbage. First, it's not tall enough to cover gaps. Second, the adhesive is just that boogery stuff that you see fake credit cards stuck to in junk mail. Third, it arrives completely flat, and it doesn't really want to bow up like the pics show. I got swindled. The only silver lining I can take away from this product is that some folks might learn from my mistake.

This product was far more difficult to install than anticipated. The backing was very difficult to get off the adhesion strip and wouldn’t stay put for very long despite cleaning the surface. Since the adhesion would stay in place the result is a flat strip. Also the paper packaging was stuck on the adhesive strips and it made it very difficult to remove it without completely pulling off the strip altogether.

Best thing ever. Easy install, and worked exactly as intended. We live in an old house, so the threshold and inner floor are not level. This is why I needed something under the door opposed to a skirt.

Cheap, and doesn't work well unless there is a substantial gap between door and floor. On the upside, this was easy to install.Next time, I will spend the money for quality door seal.

Works. Allows installation to doors that aren’t always hung at the same height from floor.You may notice a bit of light underneath once in place. It’s not an air gap. The adhesive is clear and glows from sunlight.
