Well, the maiden voyage of the white duck regatta tent was very impressive with how watertight this tent is constructed wonderfully I was in a 13 hour rainstorm and not a drip inside the tent. I’m very impressed some things I did not expect with a canvas tent because this is the first time I’m using one it takes an extreme amount of time to dry it out, secondly I got it extremely muddy so cleaning it is a chore. Putting up the tent. you want to make sure that you do the doorway first steak that down then move on around it to complete the set up. What I am not happy with is where the stove pipe comes out of the roof of the regatta tent There’s a foldable flap made of the same material that the tent is and it’s not fireproof. Don’t forget to secure that flap because I fell to do so and burned a hole completely through it. I think white duck should’ve made the flap the same material a as the fireproof Stovepipe opening. See attached picture The other thing is don’t fool yourself it’s not that easy to put up on unlevel ground. You really need a level piece of ground that allows you to get the steaks in without running a jackhammer and finally I should’ve got a bigger tent, maybe the 16 foot maybe the 20 foot the 13 foot allows two large cots can fit in it with the stove with a chair and other items but it’s tight with three cots or three people. Hope this helped. As I continue to use the tent I fall short on trying to use the wooden stove. I have a sheet of fire proof material under the stove but remember to use plywood or some other material under the fire proof material because any embers will melt the bottom of the tent. And there goes a lengthy repair. I still enjoy the tent and I hope you will too. Enjoy

Nice bell tent, stove jack. Add the footprint and a fire blanket.

I am very impressed with this 20’ tent. It has stood up to high winds and terrible rain storms. I travel with it for work and use it pretty much year round because I would rather camp than stay in riffraff overpriced hotels.

This is my second White Duck Avalon tent, and they are amazing! Lesson learned is to build a platform for these tents. The first one (white), came down and swirled around in the mud during a crazy storm. Power washed it for a million hours it seemed, but couldn't bring it back to it's original splendor! Platforms are the way to go!
