Unbelievable product, for the money!
It isn't often that I'm motivated to write a product review, almost immediately. This time, I need to make an exception...This dash cam is an AMAZING product, and far less expensive than lesser performing models. I could hardly believe the video quality associated with this set of cameras, and the first test drive was enough to motivate me to express this to other consumers. The entire product installed in less than fifteen minutes, and was effective on first use. I connected power and tested both cameras, PRIOR to mounting/installing in my vehicle. I'm not willing to sit in the Texas sun and soak my clothes with perspiration until I am confident that the product is going to work. That having been stated, I tried two other models prior to this one (Pyle and some Nexar-powered "brand"), and both were disastrous failures. From camera operation to configuration, to control and SD Card (64GB, as opposed to 32GB, on most units), this brand is far superior to anything I've "owned," thus far. I quoted the word owned because two of the the three I owned previously have gone right back to Amazon.Let's begin with installation:I own a Jeep (Compass), and the molding on the inside is fairly lenient. Running the wires was VERY easy, and the provided tool was an amazing assistant, given that I only had to remove two pieces of the molding (Windshield and driver door). The back camera was easy to split off where it was needed, as Jeep did a very good job with their (user-friendly) molding. Once powered, the back camera (about which I was worried) fired right up, and displayed beautifully.Configuration:The configuration menu is extremely intuitive, and covers everything any user would require (in my humble opinion). Once configured, the settings remained, even after a power down and restart. Configuration took me all of five minutes, and my cameras are fully functional and appear reliable (though only a few hours have transpired since delivery).Camera Quality:Supreme! The images are crisp and clear, and "jitter" correction provides a spectacularly smooth video. When I have the video off and the jeep is in park, the mirror (Chicom unit) vibrates. The rubber attachment pieces still allow for vibration, and idle is a bit more "rough" than transit. Even this was corrected with startling efficiency (I will post tomorrow's drive in to work). I'm not really worried about capturing video inside the cabin, as I can't think of a valuable use for it, in my daily life... That stated, those who value internal recording might seek another model, as this does not provide it. Audio is unexpectedly crisp and clear. It's the best I've ever experienced.Control:The ability to switch cameras with a tap and a swipe is an unexpected benefit. My Jeep came with a built-in reverse camera, so I decided to mount this camera higher. This provides me with both a high and a low view, which is beneficial. Since Jeep provides an extremely good reverse camera (pops onto the view screen when in reverse), with a self-adjusting set of guides, reversing is a breeze, and does not require contortions to view. The added benefit of having a high view as well as a low view makes parking lot reversing SO much easier, it's not even funny. The ability to control recording (audio as well as video) "on the fly" puts it head and shoulders above the crowd. Being able to snap a quick series of pics (or just one) is an additional bonus. Being able to switch cameras with a tap and a swipe is just icing on the (VERY SWEET) cake.I've not yet had the opportunity to check the night vision, on this. I'm not all that concerned with this, since the only time it's parked away from my home (as a general rule) is when I'm at work, during daylight hours. I have excellent video surveillance at home. Both my wife's and my vehicles are well covered by said surveillance. Any "impact" to my vehicle would be well-lit, and all darkness surveillance is handled by my home security. I will try to remember to update this, when I have some valid data to present.Overall recommendation:If you don't care about recording inside the cab, this is the best dash cam I've encountered, for the money. It is truly a spectacular system, for the price. There are systems that cost twice as much (and more), with which I have been far less impressed. Full HD capture with crystal clear view and intuitive, easy operation and "on the fly" control makes this an easy 5-star recommendation. You really can't go wrong, unless you receive a factory-defective unit. My ultimate conclusion, for recommendation is:Why haven't you ordered this system, yet?!

DO NOT BUY! PLEASE READ!
The media could not be loaded. Extremely happy with this camera. I’m very surprised with the quality of both the front and the rear camera. Running all the wires including the rear camera was very easy. Highly recommended!UPDATE PLEASE READ!! - I was initially very happy with the purchase. Within a couple weeks of my purchase and installation of the cameras i began to have problems. The camera was very loose and i did not notice this initially. It was so loose that i would have to constantly re adjust the camera many times throughout the day . I contacted the seller and they were nice enough to ship me a different model replacement. I then made the mistake of buying a second dash cam for another vehicle. This second camera only lasted a few weeks before it completely died and would not turn on. I thought it was maybe the charger so i tried plugging it into the other charger i have from my first dash cam and it still didn't turn on so i knew it was the camera and not the charger. I even checked the voltage from my cigarette plug and all was normal. I contacted the seller to see if they could help me out a second time, but looks like they were no longer interested in helping me out. I am now stuck with a broken dash cam. Not only that, but the original replacement dash cam they sent me also broke a few weeks after having it. I jumped into my truck one day only to notice the entire touch screen fell off! I decided to try and super glue it back myself because i now know i'm not getting any help from the seller. The super glue seems to be holding, but now the dash cam doesn't stop beeping every few seconds while i am driving! Extremely annoying. Do not buy this dash cam unless you want to deal with it breaking. To recap: I have had a total of 3 cameras which included my original purchase, replacement and second purchase. All 3 cameras have had something wrong with them. I really doubt i have that bad of luck. $130.00 dollars isn't exactly cheap and i really expected a higher quality camera. I guess i will invest a little bit more $$$ on something more reliable and higher quality. Buy at your own risk!

Nice Item but this is the second one that won't turn back on.
The mirror is sharp when the camera is off. The picture quality is very good. The ability to switch from front to rear views with a finger swipe is good too. Even the camera viewing angle can be adjusted with a simple finger swipe. However the power died on my first on so I sent it back. Then, 6 months later the power died on the second one. No reply from the company about the 1 year warranty. Nice item if it would work for more than 6 months...

NOT A QUALITY UNIT
Within a week this Dash Cam started acting up. The camera for forward is extremely sensitive to any movement or adjustment and would freeze the unit display. Also, the Cam kept shutting off. Thought it was the power cable connection. It would work for awhile then shut off again. Finally it just stopped working. It was not the power cord. Appears there is an internal problem with the power. I'm going to try and make contact with the manufacturer or Amazon and hopefully they will repair or replace the unit. Four months is all it worked. Of coarse the 30 day return expired. Talked to Amazon and they are giving me the manufactures contact information. Amazon stated if the manufacturer will not take care of me, they will help me. Bottom line is this is a cheaply made unit that I got. Not happy.Update 12/25/2019. Amazon is going to give a refund as the seller or manufacturer never responded or returned my call. DON’T BUY THIS UNIT.UPDATE 12/31/2019: Amazon is only refunding part of my purchase price. I paid $109.89 and they only are refunding $87.89. How is that fair. Maybe people need to consider dropping Amazon. See more on Facebook and twitter.
