Glass LCD Display Touch Screen Digitizer Assembly Parts + Frame for LG G4 H810 H811 H815 VS986 LS991 F500L Screen Replacement

It took me awhile to decide which screen to get for my replacement. I heard horror stories of the touch not working, or the colors being way off or the screen brightness not working anymore. None of those issues with this screen. It even has the LG symbol at the bottom. The only thing to look out for is that the adhesion protection strips tried to pull of the adhesion strips themselves when removing so just be careful. Otherwise everything went smoothly and the phone is back to new. Also, I didn't realize that this kit would come with a "screen protector glass", but it was not the right size for the screen. Not a big deal since I had a lifetime guarantee screen protector from GadgetGuard before so I just got a new one shipped. Just something to be aware of if you are expecting a glass protector. I still give it five stars since I didnt need the glass protector and all functions work on the new screen.

The screen is pretty good. The frame looks just like the original. I was wearing a screen protection so I don't know if the screen would hold to impact just like the original. For the price is definitely a great option.The only problem I had was that the touch gave up on me. It started working a little weird with some eventual bugs, and a couple of months later it just stopped working. I replaced with the old screen to see if it worked and, even with the cracked screen, the touch was working just fine.I messaged the seller and he was fast to reply and told me I will receive a replacement.Other than that, I love the product. Would have given five-stars had the touch worked perfectly.

Replacing the screen was not easy, but I watched a few youtube videos to get the picture. I cleared the kitchen table and laid out the parts in the sequence they came apart. I put it back the way I found it. It took less than an hour. So far, it has worked great. There is always a risk that it won't work when you are doing something like this, so I can see it would be hard to order this if you were counting on it to work. But for me, I got a great backup phone out of an accident.

I have tried to replace my screen 3 times now and 2 of those tries when making a call the screen goes blank and the only recovery is to pull the battery. Luckily I can with this phone. Although the screen was nice internally it showed wear.

UPDATE 2: got replacement screen. Good condition. However the sides where it separated in the previous one were not stuck down on this new one. So, the quality of the adhesive used is just subpar. But it is cheap and it works. So I don't know. I don't recommend it but I don't think you shouldn't buy it. Reviews are hard.UPDATE: I stand by everything I said in this review but there is a new issue. The screen on the G4 is slightly curved. The glass protector is not. Over the last two weeks the screen as begun to delaminate along the middle on both sides, as though the screen protector is trying to straighten the underlying screen. I will be returning it and I will still use the replacement. I will not be installing the screen. END UPDATE.This works great. I was quite surprised to see adhesive pads for the motor and the ear speaker. It would have been nice to have pads for the front and rear camera along with the headphone jack.In addressing two separate reviews:The rubber piece surrounding the proximity and light sensors was included. Also included was the rubber piece that connects the microphone to the hole at the bottom.There was also another review complaining the connector at the bottom was different. Okay, so? Screen still works. And if they bothered to take the time to investigate they would see the controller chip is simply in a different place. Manufacturing evolves and implementations can change as long as the final result is the same. Complaining about the controller being placed on a board differently is like complaining that 4+1 isn't the same as 1+4.The only reasons I didn't give this product 5 stars is the lack of tape included and the plastic film over the phone.I bought this one because it came with a protector. When I get a new screen I always peel the film off and install the protector immediately. This was not possible this time because the film left a residue on the screen. It was quite tough to remove and I still didn't get it all. While it looked like I did, after installing the protector I can not see spots under it where I didn't get all the residue. Other than that I am quite happy with this product and I'm glad it is here.

Easy to use even for a novice. It was my first time restoring my LG 4 and I had no problem using this item. You do have to be a little bit savvy but if you have common sense you can do this yourself. You do have to remove some things and place them in the new digitizer which is not difficult at all. My lg4 is working like it did when I first bought it!

I have replaced my screen a couple times. It's so easy on these models that I teach my kids how to do it using these phones. The seller gives you everything you need to get the job done plus a screen protector in 1 box and the price is right. Highly recommend.
