Good vendor and good machine - but pretty big
I'll start with the seller. I had some interactions with them and found them to be polite, respectful and very responsive. They over delivered on service, which I was thrilled to see.Regarding the product itself, it was delivered exactly as advertised.A few things to know - it's big. Even bigger than I appreciated. One of the criticisms in other reviews is the weight. It's quite manageable but it's a sizable laptop. The upside of that is that it comes with a numeric keypad, a full size keyboard and the display is excellent for working on larger or multiple applications. I do development and a lot of documentation and have found this laptop to improve my experience and productivity considerably.Along with a sizable laptop comes a large power supply. I found that annoying. I've successfully used a smaller power supply from a previous HP laptop which was very convenient. It also has two open DIMM slots, which was great for easily adding memory in a cost effective way. I just moved those over from that same previous laptop. It was a two minute job and worked great.Overall, a good device but make sure you appreciate what it is that you're buying.

Awesome computer, especially with docking station.
I love this computer. It was an "engineering class" computer at my last job and I fell in love with it and bought one for myself. Goes great with a docking station. This is a "desktop replacement" laptop; basically, it's meant to be as powerful as a desktop, but able to move it from location to location. It's the second one I've used. The first one was through my company.Mine is blazing fast. I bought 32 GB or RAM (4 x 8 GB sticks) to replace the 2 x 4 GB sticks it comes with. Even with 8 GB, it wasn't as slow as other comparable computers. I am about to replace the HD with an SSD, so that should improve it even more.

Ordered 12 of these for my workplace... ...
Ordered 12 of these for my workplace... less than 2 years later and the screen has stopped working on EVERY SINGLE ONE of them. Have to plug a separate monitor in to use these things which defeats the purpose of a laptop. On several of them, they've stopped charging completely. Need to be plugged in 100% of the time to work (which again defeats the purpose of a laptop).

Terrible for price.
I received this laptop for work. It is supposed to be a super mobile equipment where I can work from home or anywhere... But this laptop is terrible for the following reasons:1. Extremely heavy--probably 7-8 lbs on its own. With the power cord/charger, it adds 3-4 lbs more on top of that. The laptop plus the power cord probably weighs about 12lbs or more.2. Once you take the battery out of its bank, you will have the hardest time getting it back in. I have never had such issues before with any other laptops. Someone didn't care to do quality control on this product or those responsible are just not competent.3. The Display/screen is low quality. This is a premium priced laptop with low quality parts.
