These curtain rods are ideal for bay window! We purchased 2 sets of these bay window curtain rods for our bay windows in our kitchen and in our dining area. As the Amazon description states, the “middle rod extends from 36-72 inches, the side rods extend 18-36 inches.” Our dining area bay window has the smallest section in the middle with two longer sections on the sides. With the 2 sets we purchased, we were able to use the 2 longer “middle rods” and screwed them to each side of a “side rod” which worked perfectly for our slightly unusual bay window design. The 3 remaining “side rods” worked perfectly for our much smaller kitchen bay window. The rods slide very easy for adjusting length.The brackets if adjusted as small as possible project out 3” from the wall. Fully extended as far as possible, as we have them, they project out 4-5/8” from the wall. We mounted blackout shades to the wall which project out 3” from the wall. With the mount brackets fully extended, our valences do not interfere in the least with rolling these shades up & down.We purchased the “Oil Rubbed Bronze.” The “Oil Rubbed Bronze” coloring is only on the decorative finials on the ends. The rods and elbow joints are a dark brown. The metal rods are the 3/4” diameter as stated in the description, but the hinged-elbow joints are closer to 1-1/8” in diameter, which was not a problem for us using curtain rings. It would be helpful if that diameter of the elbow joints was stated for anyone working with curtains with a sewn casing to determine if their curtains will slide over the elbow joints.Mounting the hardware was fairly easy for us. The angles bay windows make is a bit of a challenge, but with 2 people, a level, and patience we got it. We are very happy with the look and quality of these bay window curtain rods.The only negative was with 1 of the decorative finials. The threaded metal for screwing it into the end of the rod was installed crooked. Clearly noticeable if it had been inspected, but we determined it is not noticeable enough to bother with exchanging it. Once mounted with that particular finial tucked in a corner facing the wall you don't notice the slight tilt outward.

I paid twice as much for one that was half the quality of this set. It doesn't take anymore time to install than the set that cost me twice as much. If you can install normal curtain rods than this is your product. They are nice a sturdy and feel like they will last a life time even if your teenager or 6 year old don't tear them down. The bracket that holds the rod in place might get torn down but the curtain rods themselves can take the punishment. The swivel part of the rods are top notch and fit in the corners of my bay window perfectly and look nice even if they are exposed. I would recommend these curtain rods to anyone and have done just that to my neighbors.

Our 80+ year old home has a custom floor to ceiling bay window that has crazy measurements. There is barely any header room (it is all wood trim work) so I needed a narrow pole and something that was fairly uncomplicated to put up. This item fit the bill. I was able to put it up on my own in an hour with several interruptions. The video directions are really good. I liked that there are only four brackets. (5 are included in case your middle front pole needs the extra support in the middle. Mine was right at the measurement but I decided not to use it and it worked out great). The pole is very sturdy and can handle the weight of all of the drapes needed to cover the windows. Being able to adjust the angle and length was very easy.I am very happy with this purchase.

Really wish I had read the helpful review(s) that mentioned the corner connectors being larger than 3/4 inch. before I purchased this.For many buyers, this will not even be an issue (if you are hanging curtains directly onto the rod by using the pockets, ties, or tabs, or if you are using curtain rings that are a larger diameter) BUT, if you are using curtain rings that are a tighter fit, they might not make it over the connectors because they are a larger diameter. (For example: I purchased the Urbanest Antique Brass 1 inch INNER diameter curtain rings meant for up to a 3/4 rod here on Amazon and they fit great on the rod itself, but dont even come close to making it around the corner connectors, sadly. To use this rod with curtain rings AND be able to move them freely across the length of the entire rod or at least the corners, you WILL need curtain rings that have an inner diameter larger than 1 inch.Aside from that, the rod itself is nice, the instructions were clear, and there were no missing parts. As a side note, I was under the impression this rod was made by Decopolitan, but the instructions have the Better Homes and Gardens brand/logo at the top. That can be useful info. when price comparing other places. This was $29.99 at the time I purchased it just one week ago. Now it is $25.00, so the price does fluctuate somewhat apparently.4 out of 5 stars for the connectors not being the same diameter as the rest of the rod.

Ok, so this is a really good curtain rod for the price. I had been searching for a solution to the not so private blinds in my apartments. Being a bay window, there are not too many options. This came up on a search, and I'm glad I went for it. The only thing is, I feel it was maybe meant for bigger windows. I have it at the smallest length, and the hinges almost hit the walls. But it still works, looks nice, and was fairly easy to install.

Bought this for our 6yo daughter’s room. I was a little intimidated when it first showed up but then I took a deep breath and took it one step at a time. It took me about 45 minutes to install by myself, with my two youngest “helping”. Considering how difficult our daughters window is, it was pretty easy. Her middle window is actually 2” larger than the max for this rod but with the corner pieces added IT WORKS!! This is a cute and simple rod design. One finial was scratched up on one side but I just turned it so it faced the wall, not big deal. Seems sturdy, once the curtains arrive we will see how they hold up. Over all I am happy with them and would recommend to anyone not needing something heavy duty or super fancy.

I was nervous about installing this rod set but it was actually pretty easy, I had no issues! Seems to be very sturdy and it looks really nice with the curtains up. Great price compared to a similar design I saw on Wayfair that was a little more expensive. I’m happy with it!

We have 3 bay windows in our house and after ordering this rod for one window we ordered 2 more! Super easy to install if you follow the instructions, looks great and hold up well. Very impressed, bay window curtain rods anywhere else are $100+
