I have very straight fine shoulder length hair, but plenty of it. This is quite heavy but personally I like this, it’s very well made. Gives a fantastic full and smooth blow dry and reduces flyaway bits. The smoothing on dry hair works brilliantly on days that I’m not washing on blow drying. It’s not going to curl hair but knocks it under for a really good professional looking blow dry, with little effort and in a very short time frame. Would recommend

Honestly the best hair tool I have used. I’ve had other very highly rated brands that did a good job but this shark smooth style is another level. The hairdryer in this brush is as powerful as my salon hairdryer and the brush barrel is large so you get the salon blow out effect. I love the hot comb for days in between washes. My hair honestly looks and feels like I’ve been to the hairdressers every time I use it. Love love love, easy to use and highly recommend. It even had a little hangy bit so you can hang it up to cool down. I will say it’s a little heavier than other hot brushes but the quality is outstanding. I might get a glove for when I use the comb part as it does get hot. Overall gobsmacked! ♥️

I've had this now for a year. I use it all the time. The reason I give it a 4 is that it is quite heavy to hold and the air coming out of the heated brush, comes out very fast so you can look a bit wind swept with it. It has different settings but the air seems to come out of each setting just as fast. It's saving grace is the heated brush setting (which I hadn't realised was a setting when I first received this). It smooths slightly damp hair really nicely and tidys up the wind swept look from the hairdryer setting. The small negative to this setting is the smell it gives off (smells a bit like burning). My hair is reasonably fine hair, I'm not sure what it is like with thicker hair.

This is perfect. I used the revlon blow dry brush for years and it destroyed my hair. Was looking for spending a bit more on a better quality brush and this was it! My hair already is healthier and this product gives me great at home blow outs. Really easy to use, the extra bit on the top is so helpful to hold the tension while I style while not burning my fingers off. Love the dry hair setting, a great way to refresh without too much effort and not damaging my hair in the process. If you’re looking for a good quality blow dry brush that’s not out of this world expensive, definitely buy. I’ve got really long, thick hair and once I’ve rough dried it only takes about 10 minutes to get a frizz free, and shiny hair style.

Due to the good reviews and because this was made by Shark, I thought I would try it. Did not work for me, it was heavy and bulky and not as easy to use as indicated by other customers. Returned.

Ok, so I’ve had so many types of hairdryer feels like I’ve tried everything, and this is definitely the best I’ve had- for my hair anyway. I have thick wavy/curly hair which is also bleached/greying and damaged, so a smoothing brush is obviously what I need. I’ve had a revlon (pink) for 18 months which I was pleased with, and a third of the cost of course. That went up in smoke last week so I gave the Shark a try. Bought another Revlon too in the hope that the difference would be negligible but I must admit the Shark is worth it. Yes it’s a little bit heavier, but I dried my hair on a much much cooler setting than with the Revlon and my hair is so smooth I can’t stop touching it, and with a lovely wave using the plates, rather than sizzling it with the GHDs which I normally have to do after drying. If I had to give a criticism I do prefer having the brush element all the way around the revlon and it gives a good grip, however my bushy hair is definitely more bushy after the Revlon. If you have thin hair you may prefer the Revlon. It’s perhaps worth saying that in the past I had a Dyson airwrap but this just made it bushier and frizzier, with a vague wave, so I sent it back (all credit to Dyson they were great) and I thought that it was probably 30% better than my hot brush but sixteen times the price, this Shark is twice as good for three times the price of the Revlon- still keeping it though!

Shark Smooth Styler, wet to dry, in one word is just incredible. I have shoulder length hair and loads of it. I absolutely dread washing and blowdrying it, as it takes 35 mins on average to blow dry with a brush and hairdryer. So I thought I'd give this ago. It truly has revolutionised drying and styling my hair. Easy to use, and the result is amazing. Use it like a hairdryer.... For super smooth or flick styles and does the job in 15 mins. For a little refresh after a couple of days, use it on the hot comb setting only and as if by magic, you look like youre fresh out the salon . My only problem is... I wish I hadn't waited so long before I bought one. I wish I'd bought it years ago. Shark have done an amazing job. 3 times I've used it on wet to dry hair, and all three times, I've had people say 'Ooooo you've had your hair done'. And I am rubbish at hair, I just can't bothered, but I cannot stress enough the finish this thing gives you. It makes it a pleasure not a chore. If your undecided like I was.. Just buy it, you will not be disapoointed.

Set on fire after six months light use. I cleared the hair from it each time, and maybe used it three to four times a month at the very most. Would not expect this from a brand like Shark.

It dries and straightens my hair really well, and it’s very quick to use.
