It works very well, and it is the best adhesive so far.

We use for electronic board placement in manufacturing- it gives us a few minutes to make sure everything is set in just the right place before hardening. The bond is super strong. We have tried other products, including all the other Devcon products. We used to buy locally at Lowe’s, but they quit carrying the Devcon brand. It’s the best all around epoxy we have to used. Also, it is a “gel” so it doesn’t run on everything while you are applying. Be sure to the exact same product “Devcon Home Epoxi GEL” And be sure to mix it well for at least 30 seconds before applying.

Installed an add-on Questech bathroom shelf onto a tile wall. Tried tube of adhesive/sealant but it was too slow to cure and hold shelf through 30 minutes. Removed easily from wall and ordered Devcon 5-Minute Epoxy. It has a blue dye that disappears when it is adequately mixed. Nice touch. This epoxy sets within 5 minutes so have all your preparations [masking tape, plastic mixing tray - I use old, clean trays from deli, mixing & application stick, level, etc] in advance. Do not get in on surfaces where you don't want it. Spread mixed epoxy on edge of shelf and had level on top of it. Pressed it hard against wall for 5". I could feel it was tight. Applied pressure for another 5 minutes. Taped it to wall and let stand 24 hours before placing items on it. Devcon was perfect for attaching an item to a vertical surface. Comes with caps to seal tubes to be able to use again.

The smell is awful and extremely chemical. However, the blue dye works perfectly and it bonds very quickly. Be ready once your mixture id done to IMMEDIATELY use. I accidentally had to throw some out since it cured faster than I could use it.

I bought this because my tile guy could not find anything to hold up my tile corner shelf. I used per instructions and supported overnight. I was a little nervous pulling the tape off, but to my surprise it held well. The shelf has been on for several months now and no problems.

I got this epoxy by accident the first time, (my lovely wife picked up the wrong stuff!). But I will not use anything else now.I facet gemstones and when transferring the cut gem to another dop, (brass rod that holds the gemstone), to finish faceting the other half of the gem I need a glue that has super strong holding properties, keeps its shape without drooping or running after being applied and finally, is workable for several minutes to give me time to properly apply it.Other epoxies drip, don't hold their shape after being applied and take too long to get the initial set.This epoxy, does everything. I have never had a gem fall off the dop, it has great holding power. Once in place I don't have to repeatedly turn the gem in the transfer jig over and over until the glue sets up. Its very easy to shape epoxy around the stone. It comes off the dop and stone very easily and clean after heat is applied.After using many many different brands, this is my go to epoxy.

a far, FAR SUPERIOR product to Loctite - I will NEVER buy Loctite again...

I dont know if it was just this epoxy or the tube I got...but 3 hours after curing...I heard a crash sound and all my stone/tiles came crashing down...doing lots of dammage... I would not recommend
