quality unsurpassed
The Baldwin door sets are solid cast brass or bronze then plated and clear coated. I added a door to a room and though the locks are now being made in China the quality is excellent. The Amazon price was competitive and delivered promptly.

Lasting Beauty
We bought these knobs over 10 years ago for our upstairs area and we have a large home. They are heavy and have not lost a bit of their luster...still look new over 10 years later. Baldwin means solid brass when they say it. My teen daughter was able to mess one up because she likes to play around with things (kids!) But Baldwin had not gone cheap like some other companies, and they still make the same, beautiful quality. So, I have confidence in replacing them...if needed. Also, they sell the little privacy pin for locking the door. My daughter lost this too...naturally. Ha Ha...She's actually adorable! Anyhow, thank you, Baldwin, for not reducing the quality of your product over the years.
