5 stars for 'saving' my RTC damaged bike (see photo of stripped threads) I struggled to find a review of these square taper threadless bottom brackets so here's my own. Just managed 490 miles before this BB unscrewed itself, and here lies the difficulty - how to securely tighten it. Attached is the collection of tools I used, you'll need 2 bottom bracket tools and 2 large spanners and at the very least threadlock. I used locktite blue but have also got the red (for future use, if the refitting & over tightening after 490 miles doesn't last)Ride quality is akin to the UN55 that it replaced, although there is the odd sensation of vibration from the seat tube - probably due to the effect of the compression of the bottom bracket shell?Overall this BB has saved me from condemning my trusty steed to the collection of parts that it surely is, instead giving me extended miles beyond the frames' damaged lifetime (currently 11,274miles 'tis only Al 7005T)
