I have been chemically straightening my hair since I was a child. Either I would do it or I would go to the salon. I have tight/wavy hair. I grew it long and it was torture to wash my hair weekly because it was so hard to detangle - hence the straightener. Since the pandemic and moving to another state I had to bite the bullet and straighten my hair myself. I knew that my stylist used the Affirm system so I chose to continue to use their product line. Since I was only straightening new hair growth I wanted to protect the rest of my hair and this product protected both my new growth and previously straightened hair. This product (Avlon Affirm Protecto) performed as promised and I plan to continue to use/purchase it!!
