Very Good Smart Battery Charger........
The smart battery charger by AllmaybeDirect is a nice addition to my battery chargers. I have tons of different batteries and they all should be charged a little different and at different rates and this takes care of that for you without having to think about it. #adWhat I like:- Self-detects what types of batteries you put in it charges at the correct mAh for those batteries- Can charge different size and types of batteries at the same time- Will revive/activate and charge an over-discharged battery- Comes with a USB port to be used as a battery pack for charging other devices- Will charge batteries from 32mm to 70mm in length- Charges 3.6V/3.7V/3.8V Li-ion, 1.2V Ni-MH/Ni-CD to 3.2V LiFePO4 batteries- Each slot charges separately and has its own LED lights and percentage status bars- No questioned asked 100% money back guarantee- 500 mAh or 1000 mAh charging options- Comes with instruction in English and a USB cableWhat I don’t like:- Have to push a button to choose the correct type of 3.2V LiFePO4 battery or 3.8V Li-ion batteries- Only two slots need more slots in today’s world- Limited to two mAh charging amounts, some could use 150, 300 or 800 mAhOverall, this is a very nice charger that works and makes charging a little easier and smarter for everyone.

Almost magical
It should get 4.5 stars, it has a USB plug, but not USB power supply and no AC plug. So,d you need to provide your own USB power for charging, but I already have a bunch of USB chargers. Thus I waffle between giving it 4 and 5 stars. But it works, which is more than I can say for other units I've purchased. I can even say, this works pretty well. It's smart. Batteries seem to heat up as they get close to fully charged, but once charged, the trickle changes and I assume stops, as the batteries in the charger have always cooled down. The lights are a wonderful user interface, signalling through rotating lights that it it monitoring the battery in the holder. Each battery is monitored separately. Between rotations, you can immediately how much of a charge has been established in the battery. Because monitoring is done on each battery separately some of us being a tad OCD might want to play the game of unseating and re-seating the batteries at the same time to synchronize the lights :D Enjoy!

Versitle and sturdy. 2 of these worked with my 14 watt solar panel just fine.
Got 2 of these for a 14volt foldable solar panel and it's USB capability. I charged 4 AA batteries and there was times when the lights would do some indication that power was not adequate for operations. I then re-positioned the panels and kept charging. These can take the 3.7 volt batteries and be charged which has the power to be used as a charger as well for cell phones. It is sturdy. The metal pins are strong enough. There is a lot this little charger can do and I am very happy with it.

A versatile and efficient charger great for an emergency kit.
I have owned this charger for almost a year now and used it dozens of times to charge AA and C cell rechargeable batteries. I mostly use it with my solar panels with USB ports and it works very well. The beauty of this device over others when using a solar panel is the way it will very the charge depending on weather there are clouds or if the sun is out in its full glory. You can have it charge with an output of 1 amp per slot and if the clouds come out it will automatically go to .5 amps and keep on charging. It charges quite fast with 1 amp per slot if that is what you want. You can also of course use a USB wall plug or a power bank with this devise. This would be a nice addition to anyone emergency kit it works with all types of batteries unlike many other chargers.

Arrived with no manual. Started to revive a 0v ...
Arrived with no manual. Started to revive a 0v 18650, but then stopped responding to ANY 18650. I'm sure it probably does something, but I'm not sure what, and I have no way to find out. Will upgrade my review should I have any success.UPDATE: After much searching, I found one comment on Amazon Canada about some narrow voltage range in which this unit will not charge anything. I'd have known that if a manual was included, or if one was available online somewhere. Anyway, that was what I was missing, Adding one star, since the unit does seem to do what the manufacturer claims it will.

Battery Charger
At first this thing worked as intended. However I will say that the material it's made of is very thin plastic and flimsy. The connections are not of the greatest quality... sometimes it would charge, sometimes it would not. The light indicators do not correctly indicate the charge, but when it stops flashing the batter's are correctly charged. If they would build the unit out of a better material and correct the connections I would recommend this to a friend. I would not buy this again, but it does still work as intended.

Good charger, but with limitations...
As a battery charger, it compares well to my existing XTAR VC2 Plus battery charger. Only concern with this charger is if it is to be used within a very quiet environment, you will hear a faint very high pitch sound. I think it is from it's voltage conversion circuit. This will not be an issue if you are normally over 3 feet away. But, as a USB power source, it does not handle this task very well. Using a 18650 battery, it will start dropping the charging somewhere around 50% charge remaining. The charging will be intermittent, cycling on and off every few seconds. Placing this same battery (without charging) into the XTAR battery charger, I can drive the 18650 battery down to 5% charge remaining, before it will stop charging the device. So, if you don't need this functionality, it will do fine as a battery charger.

Works great as a quick charger
Works great as a quick charger, but I still don't understand what the USB-A passthrough port is supposed to be used for. The USB-A port doesn't function at all unless it's plugged into the wall via the micro-USB input. Was that port intended to be used as a portable battery bank, but never completed in the circuit design?
