Review: Must be a mem corruption issue going on. Every few months the device appears to function fine from the web ux but the LED's slowly start misbehaving and sometimes never turn on again. Uploading new fw and restoring configs will NOT fix it however a factory reset from the wled menu does the job.

worked perfectly for my needs, not the best WIFI pick up but for me it works out ok

This is one of the best controllers. Very easy to set up. I have had smlight controller which are also really good but this is cheaper and easier to set up. Worked right out of the box. Highly recommend.

What makes it worth the effort is how flexible and compact it is. After some experimenting, you can fine-tune brightness, effects, and timing exactly how you want, and the ESP32 chip gives you plenty of headroom for customization. It’s not a beginner’s controller — more of a “tinkerer’s toy” that rewards patience — but when it’s dialed in, it performs beautifully. If you like to experiment and don’t mind getting your hands dirty to make your setup perfect, this little board absolutely delivers.
