UNRELIABLE SO FAR
I I HAD TO SEN THE CAMERA BACK DUE TO MALFUNCTIONS. THE BATTERY DRAINED AFTER 1.5HRS STREAMING. AFTER 30 MINUTES IT WOULD AUTOMATICALLY ZOOM OUT. I REACHED OUT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE SHIPPED ME ANOTHER DEAD ON ARRIVAL. THIS ON HAS A GREEN LIGHT IN THE INTERNALS WHEN POWERED OFF. IT TAKES UP TO 30 DAYS FOR A REFUND SO I HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER ONE FOR STREAMING PURPOSES UNTIL THIS HAPPENS WHICH IS ANOTHER 1200 DOLLARS. I AM NOT SURE IF THIS PRODUCT WILL BE DEPENDABLE HOWEVER I GOT SOME GOOD FOOTAGE THAT I HOP I CAN WORK PAST. AS OF NOW ITS A 1STAR.

First of all, this is professional quality imaging. But with the AI tracking capabilities, I am able to run sound for events while providing a high quality recording. The WiFi and a build in battery allow me to setup wherever I like bring completely wireless.

Good for online bad for Live IMAG
This OBSbot Tail 2 is unusable for IMAG or live productions in low light scenarios.In normal well lit conditions the delay is already noticeable, but when switching to Night mode it's completely unacceptable. When pushing the camera to its maximum zoom range in low light conditions it fails to provide a stable picture and the image seems to wiggle. You are not able to switch modes without stopping the NDI stream. And shutter settings are linked to output mode. When switching to Night mode SDI is also switched to 30p.This is a very good solution for well lit streaming and conferences where the video stream is only viewed online and not on a big screen.
