Very Sturdy
Love these straps and used them on a recent trip across country. I wish that at least one of them was a little longer to fit vertically on a large suitcase, not just horizontally.Still love them though!!

Check if airline allows buckle
Nice quality. Unfortunately our international airline did not allow there use because of the buckles. Airline seemed to allow rubber band type straps without buckles.Have yet to try on on continental flights.

BIG MISTAKE!
My first Amazon review in nearly 20 years! Very disappointed! Purchased 4 straps for 2 bags for a month long vacation In Europe which included 5 flights. 1st strap broke on the 1st flight! Two others broke on flights 3&4! I’m not a novice traveler (3 million plus FF miles!), and never had any problems with my old straps! Bought new luggage and thought new straps look would compliment the new luggage. BIG MISTAKE!

They Work as Expected
Just what we needed for extra security in keeping our luggage closed but they also made it very easy to find our bags at the luggage carousel.
