An invaluable reference work at a great price!
This is the most comprehensive book of it's kind I've ever seen. Not only is it a complete listing of the Warner Brothers theatrical animated shorts (available from other sources), but it includes the credits for all of the "Blue Ribbon" re-releases that didn't show them.I lost my first copy of this book years ago, and by the time I got around to trying to replace it, it was out of print and hard to find. The copy I received was in excellent condition, and when you consider the fact that new copies are selling for over $100 on Amazon, you can't beat the price.

The Best Print Guide to the WB Shorts
This is the best guide to the WB cartoons in print form. Every single WB cartoon has it's own entry, release date, credits (wherever possible), and a summary. The summaries mostly describes the plot and action of the given short, but sometimes some short insightful commentary. Occasionally, tunes in the background score are listed. All the illustrations are black and white and mostly consist of lobby cards. In the years since, there have been some pretty good blogs going into more depth on these shorts, but this should be considered the staple guide and resource. Unfortunately, it's been out of print for some time, but used copies are very inexpensive and easy to come by. Highly recommended. I’d like to see an updated version in a kindle format.

a must have for any fan of cartoon animation
the looney tunes have always been been at the top of my list of animated favorites also this is where i learned about jazz and other forms of music the book describes every episode ,i wish the descriptions were a little shorter but it''s okay this is a wonderful book i was looking for to go along with the six volume dvd sets that only give the title and not a synopsis, i can look up any title see what year it was made and get a detailed discription of any tune ever made ,it''s also good reading if you just want to laugh and visualize in your mind without actually watching an episode, im glad i have it great for any cartoon fan.

It's just an episode guide. I was hoping for some commentary. It has a very helpful index if you're looking for certain episodes or a character's complete filmography.

The ULTIMATE, DEFINITIVE guide to Warner Brothers Cartoons
Had this in my library when it first came out...Worn and torn, I am SO glad to get a pristine replacement. This exhaustive tome features 99.99% of the vignettes made by Termite Terrace plus all the episodes of the Original Bugs Bunny Show .. and here's to hoping a new, updated version - featuring The Chuck Jones & Darryl van Citters 1990's vignettes is gonna be forthcoming......**SOON!!**

Great info that is hard to find anywhere else
Great info that is hard to find anywhere else. A lot of the more popular episode's information is available on the web but not this complete or comprehensive. Plus I've always appreciated having it where I can hold it in my hands-without a screen.

looney tunes and mery melodies
Très complet...mais je m'attendais à un ouvrage plus illustré! En attente d'un vrai gros ouvrage à compulser dans le futur

Looney tunes and merrie malodies.
Es un libro interesante. Lástima que tengan pocas ilustraciones y sean en blanco y negro. Pero como documento histórico no tiene precio para los fans de los dibujos animados de la Warner Brothers.

Illustrated?!
It's more of an encyclopedia of Looney Toons and Merrie Melodies cartoons, than an illustrated guide. It includes descriptions of all cartoons that were made from 1930 to 1990 - and it's interesting. But as someone mentioned before - most pages don't have any illustrations, and if there is one - it's small, b/w and not of the greatest quality. So if you think of getting it, and expect illustrations then you will be dissapionted.
