OEM type, but may need minor modifications
I had originally posting a "lukewarm" review (3/5 stars) of this item. My reason was the indication of being a replacement for the ASUS "ROG" series of gaming laptops (G751) specifications. The issue I had was with a lack of a "disclaimer/FYI" noting the "faceplate" of this drive is a generic type and would require exchanging the faceplate from the original drive to the replacement drive.After a couple exchanged messages, the Seller updated the description to indicate the possibility of having a different faceplate than the OEM drive. As they have now edited their description to indicate the difference, I have decided to reevaluate my review and hopefully provide a more positive review.Blessings 🙏🙏🙏

Cheap and very well built
I expected it to have a similar case head for the tray, but beggers can't be choosers, it works exactly the same as the original but its compound lenses has been split into two, which I feel it's a more reliable design
