Mignonne

This album is pure gold from start to finish. There isn't a single boring track here. I first heard 4:00 A.M. on YouTube, like most western fans of Japanese music do. The song brought me to tears with its beautiful choir and desperate lyrics. Usually when I buy an album I wait until the next time I'm in my car to listen, but I popped this one into my PC and listened with headphones immediately and was stunned by the great introduction Jajauma Musume presents. My other favorites besides the two mentioned already are Iidasenakute and Umi to Shounen. In my opinion this is an essential album if you enjoy Japanese pop music.

I heard "4 AM" on Youtube and I feel in love with it immediately. The rest of the songs in this album are also beautiful. I think I've got the 2006 remastered version and the sound quality is great. The CD arrived in perfect conditions!

Great music and CD but unfortunately the case came cracked. Not sure if it was broken during shipping, but not bubble wrapping or anything. Poor packaging quality.

Just open the package to see a huge crack across the middle of the album like if they threw it without any second thoughts. Going to return it and have a replacement. But in terms of this album, definitively a must have album.

セカンドアルバムと巷間言われているヨーロッパ3部作の狭間にあって、いかにも何かありそなポジションに位置している。発売当時は全く売れなくて大貫さんも大分落ち込んだという曰くつきのディスクだそうだ。が、聴いてみて自分としては大いに気に入った。巻頭一番ファンクっぽさバリバリの「じゃじゃ馬娘」で目が覚めるような一撃。巻末を飾るのはゴスペルテイストを感じさせる「あこがれ」。これだけでただもんじゃないのに、「横顔」「突然の贈り物」「海と少年」「4:00A.M.」などの名曲群が目白押し。「空をとべたら」「風のオルガン」なんかも好い感じで、嫌な表現だが捨て曲無しの名盤と呼んで差し支えないんじゃないかと思わしむる楽曲群で構成。個人的にお勧めの一枚。

Para coleccionistas, es uno de los álbunes de City Pop que mejor suenan. Grabado por músicos de calidad ( Sakamoto, entre otros ) contiene una de sus canciones más conocidas: 4 A.M. Las copias que quedan se deben de contar con los dedos de una mano, Japan Select suele vender a veces el remaster de BNG Japan del 2008, aunque la copia esencial es la editada por RCA ( 1985 ).

Such a fantastic album. I had the song "4 AM" in my "recommended for you" list on youtube, I listened to it and knew I had to go and buy this album. I did so and it is so good. A really relaxing, yet exciting album!

商品ページには、3rd プレスで半透明の紫色と記載されてますが、写真でおわかりのとおり、レコードの色は赤色のものが届きました。それも朱色に近い真っ赤！しかも、4th プレスです。最初、手配した方が間違えたのかと思いましたが、現在はもう3rdプレスのレコードは完売してしまい、商品として販売されてるのは4th プレスのものらしいです。それならそうと記載内容をちゃんと編集してほしいですよね。まぁ仕方ないと思い、針を落として聴いてみたら、とても良い音で、感激しました！リマスターとカッティングが上手です。レコードの色は気に入りませんが、このアルバムをレコードで買えて良かったと思っています。それにしても、なんでよりによって真っ赤なレコードにしたんだろうか。

今から10年程昔、最後に収録してある「あこがれ」を偶然、車のラジオで聞いた時、今まで仕事で頑張って生きてきた事を振り返り、涙があふれてきたことがありました。それ以来この曲は私の大切な曲です。それ以外の収録曲も目立つ曲ではありませんがいい曲ばかりです。
