A better gun than the standard Miller.
This MIG gun is a better gun than what came with my Millermatic 135. It is slightly longer that my original and has a better feel to the trigger. The electrical connector from the gun to the welder is also a better quality than the lamp cord looking wire on my original Miller gun. The butt end of the gun has a nice tapered brass fitting that fits close to the feed rollers. It looks much more finished than the Miller spiraled steel wire sheath.A great value for your money. I would buy this again to replace a MIG gun for a Millermatic MIG welder.

Direct fit and durable.
I’ve run about 5 spools of wire through this gun since purchasing. All in all I’m very please with the quality and value. It took a monumental effort to remove the original gun from my 10 year old millermatic 175. The new gun fit much easier into the holder and plugged right in. The lead is easy to maneuver isnt too stiff or too soft. The consumables go in easily and fit better than the miller gun. Very pleased with the purchase.

Good and bad
I got this gun on a millermatic 140 auto set - I got the whole welder for $50. It was rough and I thought the wrong gun. All set up wrong- after getting it all together correctly, I started welding with it… not bad.Now I have several welders- and my go to MIG is the millermatic 140 - solid welder.I had grabbed some parts for testing off that welder- to use and so I had a job to do- so I used the (new to me) $50 welder, doing some descent welding, fluxcore (deeper penetration) and it seemed to weld better than my other 140!!! So I keep using it, and it kinda rocks. Now the bad- it is like a Lincoln (tweco style)Compared to the Miller m-10 gun…. I don’t like the look or the feel ( flimsy design from 1982) the switch is light (cheap) which can be a good thing I guess. Now the good- the brass end that is right after the feed roll is cool- again like you would find on a Lincoln welder. I wish Miller/ Hobart would adopt that style but it is what it is.So if you like a Lincoln gun on a Miller welder….. this is a good gun- cheapOtherwise I think you would just have a Lincoln welder with a Lincoln gun. Doesn’t really make sense to me, but it came with the machine. I might leave it, I might get the M-10 but in 15ft or 12ft

For price great.
For the price great deal. The only bad thing, the trigger switch wore out the second day of use. Got the job done, happy with that.

You can feel the Torch lead binding up inside
Likes--first it did fit right in to the machineDislikes (the baddd)-- The inter liner binds up when welding ,the wire stops and then pops as it forces it thru if it can or you have to pull it out 10- 15 inchsThe lead is very stiff, which means it's hard to turn the tip to the right angles..Ps : this is on .30 fluxed wire (made in USA)
