These are just like the ones I used in the military. There is a pair or two in my hiking bag at all times. Plus when I work in clearing brush lots and not sure of ticks or whatever, I use two pair on my work pants, and a pair on my shirt sleeves. These hold tight, and easy to put on and take off. Found that Amazon had the best price for them.

They are not as good quality as the ones that I was issued in the U.S. Army but, for the price, they do the job.

I haven't used any different bands, but they do the job and look ok. I like that you get so many in this pack for cheap. I will be giving my coworkers a pair or two if they need them.
