DANGEROUS- sparks flying
DANGEROUS— writing this review minutes after watching sparks fly from it while plugged into a high quality power strip. Not a few little sparks visible inside the strip— literal sparkler-like sparks flying OUT of the holes towards my hardwood floors. The charger felt cheap and the fit of the prongs into several outlets was loose from beginning, to the point that it cannot be used in a wall outlet because it falls out. Continued to use with a horizontal/flat power strip because I needed a charger, despite issues with it needing a periodic wiggle at the wall-end to get it to work. Went to do my usual wiggle this morning and I saw sparks flying out of the outlet.Unsure if I got a defective one but this is obviously alarming. The return window is closed but I will be reaching out to the company due to safety concerns.

Reasonably priced replacement for MacBook charger, but shoddy
I bought two of these for a work MacBook to make it easier to move around the house. It worked well for me for a few weeks, But it has some issues:- Unlike the Apple charger you *have* to plug in the charging block. This wasn't a surprise to me, cause I read the comments. but...- While impatiently trying to make the block fit on my power strip I hear a "crack" and find that the plug is loose in the block and it is now useless. It didn't take a lot of force to do this. It's not obvious if it can be easily opened and repaired.I'm being more careful with my second charger, but definitely would not get this again.

Also stopped working
I was hoping this aftermarket item would do the job. Worked good for a month or so and then it died. Noted that the part that plugs into wall was very hot and when I unplugged it it sparked. I would assume not very safe. Why can't anyone make these aftermarket so they actually work. The original apple ones are not much better since the wires for the magnetic connector all break after some time, but at least they will give you some years of use.

Worked for a day
The charger worked the first day I used it. Left it plugged in but not in use at my house. I use my laptop at work every day so my laptop is usually charged from my work charger, so I only need this for the rare occasion at home. Two weeks go by (I’m confident this charger will work when I need it) and when I tried it tonight (second time I’ve ever used it) it wouldn’t charge. The light wouldn’t come on, I switched outlets multiple times, I checked my laptop and it did not show any indication of the battery charging. I guess a functional affordable MacBook charger is too good to be true??

Do not recommend - buy real charger instead
I would not recommend this product. It stopped working completely after just a couple weeks of using it (with no physical damage to it) and if I’m not mistaken unofficial chargers can potential wear down your MacBook batteries quickly and are not optimal for the overall health of the laptop. It’s unfortunate that apple sells their chargers at such high prices, and understand looking for alternatives, but your money is better put toward an official apple charger.

Do not buy this charger!!! It will destroy your laptop!!
This charger seemed to be working fine when I bought it, until a week or 2 later I noticed that my Macbook Pro (which I bought in September 2015, so it's fairly new with fast processing speed) was shutting down at 50%. Then 60, 70, and 80%. Eventually, my laptop would only work if it was plugged in 24/7 - even at 100%, the second I unplugged it, it would completely shut down. Over $300 later at Apple cost me a new battery AND a new charger. Trust me, it's not worth it, DON'T BUY THIS. Wish I could still get refunded for it.

Worked for a couple months then died
Some broke on the inside, rattles around when shaken.I bought this because of the great reviews, go figure it would turn so quickly and the reviews are terrible!

Nice While It Lasted
This charger functioned very well for the three months that it actually worked. So, for a three month charger - what a deal.
