Large volume, versatile and powerful
Nice looking machine. It took me a little while to get the hang of it as the instructions aren't as clear as I'd have liked, so I ended up using settings that i thought would be one thing, but ended up being completely different. (Ie. I thought one of the automatic settings was for jacket potatoes, done on the oven setting for an hour or so, but it just used the microwave function for ten mins) After reading other reviews to try and figure it out more I tried the cheese on toast someone mentioned, and it was perfect! Definitely glad I tried that! Thanks! However, when I have got used to it and used it correctly, it is a powerful machine (with the microwave default at 1000w). The microwave cooks quickly and evenly, especially as there's a turntable inside the is lifted off the bottom, so air circulates the product fully. It's a great machine, looks good, has a large volume capacity, and isn't too heavy to move. I'm finding i'm turning to use it a lot more now and I'm very happy to have it!

Great combination machine
We ordered this to replace our old Panasonic microwave and we are delighted with it. It a really nice looking machine. The oven has a large capacity at 29 liters but this is due to quite a lot of height inside the oven, which means you don't burn your pizza when using the grill function, the circular glass plate is not that large at just 28.8cm diameter. It should be noted that this is NOT a convection oven, there is no fan just a basic grill. This does make it quieter than a convection micro combo but it does also mean that you should not store anything on the top as this get hot. In summary a really great machine combo.

Excellent Microwave oven with "Inverter" technology, but just a basic grill
The grill at the top of this oven is great for making cheese on toast and other quick grill food, it works surprisingly fast even with the food rotating on the metal rack provided. The oven has a large capacity at 29 liters but this is mostly due to quite a lot of height inside the oven, the circular glass plate is not that large at just 28.8cm diameterThe extra height makes the grill less likely to burn pizzas and other grilled food. But this is NOT a convection oven, there is no fan just a basic grill. On the plus side this does make it quieter in operation than our other Panasonic oven with convection.Like many other Panasonic microwave ovens this one uses Inverter technology, we have used this type of Panasonic oven for over 20 years and the microwave inverter technology is great, it really does seem to give more even cooking resultsSo if you are looking for a great performing microwave you will not be disappointed.Just be sure that you don't need a convection oven as well and that a basic grill is sufficient. For example, if you want to cook things like frozen chips and roast chicken then you'll need to look at other models which have a fan and convection oven function (we also have the Panasonic CT57 model which is a good option here)

Impressive and Practical Microwave Grill Oven
The Panasonic Grill Microwave Oven is a stylish and versatile kitchen appliance that is not only practical but also very easy to operate. With a classic silver and black color combination and a robust stainless steel body, it adds a modern touch to any kitchen. Microwave arrived carefully and securely packed in its branded box and overall looks well made. The 1000w power ensures efficient cooking, while the 29-liter capacity is pretty generous I think and is sufficient for different types of meals. It features 18 auto programs that I quite like including auto defrost, which make different daily cooking very convenient. The buttons are easy to press and labeled nicely and therefore making overall operations pretty simple. Despite its powerful performance, the microwave operates fairly quietly when in use. The grill function I believe is fairly basic though but still is quite handy to have, allowing for more cooking options beyond just reheating and defrosting.Given its sleek design, solid build quality and user friendly interface, the price is quite reasonable in my opinion (around £200 at the time of this review) so overall you get value for money too. All in all, it’s a reliable and attractive microwave oven that delivers both performance and style, making it a great value addition to any kitchen. Have rated it as 5 stars!

Hot On Top!
I was super interested in the combi/grill feature so obviously it was the first thing I tried. Just used a slice of bread to get an idea of how well it worked and as you can see by the image included with my review the grill works brilliantly. It would be perfect for heating up a pizza, crisping some cottage pie topping and even grilling veg or melting cheese. However it is worth mentioning it does take longer. The toasted bread sample I did took twice as long as it would if it was in a toaster and that is only toasting one side (I know thats not what it was designed for). It was super super easy to initiate the process. Literally press one button, select the time and go. I read exactly zero instructions and was easily able to navigate through the options with ease. I will also say the top of the oven gets VERY hot when using the grill feature so you would not want to put anything on top of the microwave.Using the microwave itself as a microwave is also stupid easy to do. Turn the dial to the desired time and hit the start button. You can also add time while its microwaving by just turning the dial, which will emit a beep when you do. I have tried the usual Panasonic option to disable the beeping and it does not appear to work, so I don't think there is a way to mute this microwave. Both the grill and microwave running noise is very quiet and I would say this is perhaps the quietest microwave I have ever used.Cost of the microwave at time of review is £199.99 which in my opinion is very reasonable as I have paid as much or more for just a microwave without the grill feature. And with this everything feels very well made, sturdy and feels like it is designed to last! Highly recommend!
