I purchased this product for my 8yo birthday party as a back up activity. His birthday party was "MINUTE TO WIN IT" themed. And let's just say entertaining a dozen 8yo boys in one house is not an easy task. The boys were energetic & flew through the games faster than anticipated. Luckily I had purchased paints, canvases & these brushes/palettes. They were perfect for the boys & surprisingly calmed them down as they focused on their projects. I was very impressed by the quality of the brushes & the different brush styles. There was no "fighting" or "competing" for certain sizes bc there was a great variety to please them. The brushes & palettes were very easy to clean. The palettes are plastic & sturdy. I have two more children (4 & 3) & I know I will be using these for their future birthday parties. These were definitely a great purchase for our family!

I got these for my granddaughter for Christmas. She's 5 and loves to paint and she loves these. I love that when she loses brushes - which she will - she'll have plenty more. good value and overall quality is surprisingly good. No loose ferrules, which was amazing to me, and the bristles were well-seated on all the brushes I checked. The palette cups were a nice bonus and see a lot of use with her tempera paints.

Great Value! These worked out great, cleaned up easily, and have lasted a few months already! I bought for my daughter and her friends for an acrylic art station that we had at her birthday party. Even the plastic paint holders cleaned up easily and were great. I recommend for anyone hosting a large group of beginner painters, for exposing kids to painting.

The pans are shallow, and not great for larger amounts of paint. Acrylics will dry quickly and oil paints will need to be consistently refilled. I would not recommend for any sort of older classroom usage. We bought this for the occasional use in our Girl Scout Daisy troop, and they work fine for 5 year olds. The brushes are fine, they’re cheap and don’t rinse clean. Again, fine for little kids, not great if you’re looking to use this for anyone looking for more longevity.

The paint set was easy to assemble, I think I just thumbed the little bolts and set up the canvas. The isles are small about 7 inches in height. The ridge that holds the canvas is about 1/3 inch so the slim paper style canvas is best. When I used a larger, half inch thick canvas I placed it horizontally with two isles on each end. This isle won’t work for any vertical canvas higher than a standard sheet of paper. The canvas and paint is sold separately. The paint brushes are more for general use and professional in anyway. Overall, I used the paint kit for my nieces birthday party and all the kids had a marvelous sip (apple juice) and paint party.

Lowest price you will find decent, classroom-quality brushes and palettes. WAY CHEAPER than Michael's or a craft store, which sells the palettes for $4-5 EACH. These plastic palettes are often sold as disposable, but we wash in the sink to be re-used. The 'scrubby side' of a sponge will get off 85% of dried acrylic paint.

I used the little paint trays for "decorate your own" cupcakes at an art themed birthday party. The little circles held the candy in place and the cupcakes fit nicely in the center. We added icing to the cupcakes right before the party and the kids had a blast decorating. Bonus: No one had to eat freshly blown out candle cake.

Used these for a paint and sip party. Only down fall is there was staining so many can not be reused for certain events. None broke, very sturdy and a great value for the money

Good value, good quality and the palettes are useful as kids can only fit a little paint in each hole so cannot waste as much paint as they often do.

Cheap enough for a group activity, quality enough to be washed and used multiple times. Very good value for money

I write this review based on my decades of experiences as a consumer of all manner of materials such as this. I have been drawing, painting and model making for over fifty years. These brushes are a bit hit and miss as to what comes out of the packets. Take two packets, two similar brushes and they are similar in about 70% I have had brushes that are much stiffer, looser, thicker, thinner. The differences are minute but when trying to paint in the eyes of a clothes peg sized character or the workings of a spitfires 8 machine guns, there is difficult and next to impossible with the wrong brush I had to return a different purchase because of loose hairs and badly finished crimping. Multi packs of the brushes on their own are sold through Amazon at £9.99 This pack for a couple of pounds more gleans much better value because of the pallets ( sold separately at a couple of quid apiece) which are useful for kids with different colours through to colour mix combinations to get a correct shade. Not so easy. Helped by prompt (for a change due to falling standards) prime delivery. Overall, fairly pricey but softened by delivery and the pallets.

Easy to use for our 5 yr old, easy to clean up afterwards ready for next time
