When my husband took ill over a year ago I bought a little wooden heart plaque with a lovely saying. On the wall above where he sat we have a large metal tree decoration with lots of branches and leaves which we called Granddads tree for our little grandchild who was fascinated by it and loved the sound it made when the branches were gently tugged on (this is where we hung the plaque).My husband recently passed away and I have found several heart plaques that have appropriate wording, and I decided to make the tree a memorial tree, something to remember him by. This "Goodbyes are not forever" plaque is one of the keepsakes to be added to the tree.
