Don't buy anything else.
At first I was resistant to purchasing the visitherm line of heaters thinking they were a little gimmicky and expensive.However, after I read the results of a big readers survey in a top fishkeeping magazine which put these head and shoulders above other heaters I was prepared to change my mind.Over the last 10 years I have found these heaters to have banished the worries and failures I was used to with other brands. I will only buy Visitherm now.I would recommend buying these at all costs. Cheaper ones really do not work the same. Although a bit more expensive to buy, they actually work out cheaper in the long run and the peace of mind is worth ten times more.
