Loveee this face mask! I just switched to this type from the typical thin face masks and will never go back. It leaves my skin feeling so great after. I put it in the fridge so it’s nice and cool when I put it on and I leave it for up to an hour.

I really like that the ClearDea Mucin Collagen EGF Mask uses plant-based mucin, and with consistent use I’ve seen visible results in my skin. It feels nourishing and the formula itself is impressive. I did take off one star because the mask does not fit; it doesn’t stay in place and tends to slide down my face. It is very heavy. Since I need keep adjusting it, it rips and tears. There’s also a lot of excess product left in the pouch, which feels wasteful. I’ve started saving it in a small container and using it as an ampoule, which actually works well. Overall, this mask delivers great results, but the design and packaging could use some improvements.

I usually use other collagen mask brands but wanted to try something different. I was pleasantly surprised by this mask it’s way better than other ones I’ve tried. It’s best overnight and it stays on the whole night and turns completely clear. I have very sensitive skin and other masks always sting and burn but this one didn’t and was very soothing.

I keep these in the fridge and take them out when I need them. The mask is easy to apply, fits well and adheres to the skin effortlessly. The immediate cooling sensation is nice and after leaving it on for an extended period, you see the film go transparent as the ingredients are absorbed into your skin. My face feels very moisturized and hydrated after I use this. The ingredients are good quality. I even use the punched out eyes and mouth pieces on my neck. I successfully used this as a sleep mask once. The second time I tried it, it came off, so I haven’t done it again. Great product that works well.

Pros: • Essence was almost entirely fragrance-free. • Mask was easy to open, separate its layers, and smooth onto my face. • The eye and mouth segments of the mask were removed from the two main pieces of the mask but were still provided – and I was able to easily cut those pieces for use in covering areas of my face which had mask gaps. • The mask was adjustable on my face immediately after application but created a firmer seal on my skin once its drydown process began. • The mask was easy to remove from my skin after six hours of wear, even on areas of my face that had hair – such as my eyebrows. My skin was radiant after wearing the mask, and those results lasted overnight. Usage Considerations: • Mask didn’t firmly adhere to skin around facial curvatures – so the inner and outer corners of my eyes, the edges of my nose/tip of my nose, and a portion of the lowermost point of my chin, had mask material detached from their skin. Note: While I was able to mostly resolve this issue via cutting slits into the mask areas that didn’t adhere to my skin, and smoothing those pieces over the contours, there was still an excess of material around the tip of my nose which hung over my nostrils during usage. So, I cut those mask pieces, and applied them near my hairline. • During my initial trial of the masks, I wore one for multiple hours instead of overnight. It started turning translucent during its third hour of wear. At that stage, I was completely certain that I could wear the mask overnight if I chose, as it had formed a flexible yet immovable film atop my skin. By the fourth hour of wear, the mask was 100% transparent on my skin, and dry to the touch, except for small areas around my hairline. At that point, it was a bit harder to speak as my mouth was semi-immobilized – but given that the mask can be worn overnight, this effect was understood. Cons: • Nothing of note. This mask absolutely delivered upon each of its promises. Although it had a learning curve, that process was worth the results.
