2500+ Digital Backgrounds

I really have to think about returning this. The first word that leaps to mind to describe this collection is mediocre. Most of the pictures seem to be Photoshop or other program created textures and patterns. Not a one of them is particularly spectacular, but many of them are usable. Frankly, in many cases, some blurring would improve them. The photographs - and there are relatively few of them - are pretty pathetic. There are 88 cloud shots, for example, and not a single sunset or sunrise among them. There is one shot of a storm clouds. In other words, these are nothing more than grab shots of partially cloudy skies, nothing you couldn't duplicate and have much more variety. The scenics are ho-hum at best. The image quality is good, but they are little more than snapshots. Again, these would probably make better backgrounds if they were substantially blurred. The urban scenes are useless. They are snapshots of San Francisco for the most part and not very good snapshots. The more I think about, the firmer my conclusion becomes: these are being returned - there are better quality collections out there at reasonable prices.Jerry

The description says "Minimum Resolution 3072x2048". This is not true. Many images are high resolution, but there are also a noticeable number with significantly less resolution, such as 1000x1500. These are of no use, and just clutter up the rest. Of the high resolution ones, I do see some I like, but it is probably around 20% of the total. So what you are really getting is a few hundred usable images, not 2500+.

Gave this item to wife as a "Just Because" gift. I was hoping she would like it, but it did not come out the way she would have like it to be. She said, " Its Okay but could have been better; but it was the tought that counted."

Most of the backgrounds are good, some I can't imagine anyone would use. Maybe it boils down to taste. I bought this for myfxhome photokey 4 program. (seems to be a great program so far) A bunch of the backdrops are just an odd combination of blurand color. Some of the "urban" photos appear to be just almost casual snapshots of what I am guessing is Chinatown in SanFrancisco. To me, they seem unusable as a background. So the reason for 4 stars, for the most part, they can be used andare of good quality.

i was expecting backgrounds that i could photoshop images into, and there are a few there, but there are also a lot of close ups of flowers, or images taken in the middle of a street, or close-ups of items, i could have taken those myself. Not as many muslin, canvas, or studio backgrounds as i felt could have been.

It is a bunch of photos of the sky just like the ones you can take outside of your house. A lot of images are not great, actually you can use just like a 100 or so backgrounds so if it is quantity what you need it won't keep up.

Didn't have many good backdrops to choose from. Had to go thru several to find one good one!

It's exactly what I wanted. Happy I purchased it and wouldn't have done anything any differently. I absolutely love Amazon!
