I really wanted to like this Bible but sadly the print was too small and there are no definite sections between the different books. The Bible cover was sticky upon receiving it, and it looked second hand so I landed up sending it back to the seller. Bought a lovely Bible with bigger print and easy to navigate in it's place.

I bought this on the recommendation of someone else and I am not disappointed. The bible is already a treasure trove of ancient history, but it is wonderful to get to know our own history on a deeper level. So much of American history has been skimmed over or left out by the public education system, history that is valuable for learning and understanding where we came from, who founded us and why, and where they foresaw us going. I just started digging in to mine, and I'm continually amazed at the amount of information they have packed in to the pages to align with the bible text.The only thing I wish the publishers provided would be indexing.This bible is big, having so much information jammed in it, and its hard to find which chapter of the bible you are in. I will be going to the christian store and getting tabs to facilitate me in my studies.Other than that small and fixable fault, I recommend this version as a wonderful companion to your favorite bible.(first time bible users would find this one too cumbersome and bulky, possibly)

The Founder's Bible is all that it says and more. I wanted it to carry around with me and use at church but it had a few too much information about the days of our beginnings as a Nation. This made it cumbersome when having to find Scriptures quickly. I purchased some very nice indexing label tabs that helped greatly. Then I had a situation that called for another need for the Bible that I chose to give it as a gift. It was accepted very well but I do not want to replace it for what I wanted to use it for. It needs to remain at home because of its weight and size which is where it would have eventually ended up if I had kept it. It is a very nice Bible but I needed a different one for other things.

I absolutely love this Bible. Every day when I read it, the pages come alive not just with the Word of the Lord, but also with our American History and what God’s Word meant to our Founding Fathers. I have learned things about our history that I was never taught in school. I highly recommend.

An unbelievable education about American history, our founding fathers, and how they created our nation based on biblical principles. I was amazed at how interrelated our country was with the bible from the very beginning with the Pilgrims and how God blessed us because of those ties. I was amazed that the first textbook in America was the Bible. Congress was used as a worship center every Sunday. Prayer was common in all walks of life. The stories, biographies, and ties to the Bible are incredible. It is sad to see how far we have fallen from those original principles. I've read this Bible several times and bought copies for my kids and my pastor. I highly recommend it!
