Don't be scared away by the higher cost of this trunk---it's a completely different quality than what you get with the "cute and cheap" dorm trunks so many places sell. I know this because I wasted money on a lesser trunk before I did my research to find this one!This trunk is made of real plywood, not particle board or wafer board or reinforced cardboard. The sturdy construction means you can sit on it, use it like a table, even stand on it. Hardware is substantial, and the middle clasp is magnetic so it stays closed even without the padlock in place. Perfect-fitting lid, with a substantial hinge to prop it open. The removable inner tray is also wood, and great for keeping smaller items from getting lost among other things. The wheels simply click into place on brackets on one end; tilt up with the handle on the other end and it rolls smoothly---then pop the wheels back off when it's arrived at its destination.Check out the Rhino Trunk website for more product options and a lot of great information. They even have an choice there to add a personalized nameplate which would be great for a camper. This basic model was right for my needs, but it looks like they have the ability to deliver completely customized trunks if you want.

Used for camp. Wheels are nice if not overloaded. Shelf is a nice addition. Wood interior is very light. Would buy again for sure.

It’s exactly what my kids needed for the first time at camp! It came with the wheels and shelf. This made it most cost effective for my situation. The shelf and wheels separately were 24.95 each or more I believed and the trunk was 179. Shipping was also expensive. Can’t remember the rate but it was high. Beautiful and built with love. Highly recommend!

The trunk is perfect. I bought it for my granddaughter for her first year at college. The quality is great and perfect for the occasion. When it arrived the wheels were missing. After contacting the vendor, the wheels were delivered in 24 hours! My daughter and granddaughter were delighted. I highly recommend!

Looks better than the picture. The wheels were a good surprise.

Product is sturdy and nice. Handles are a little stiff and does crush your knuckles. Overall I would make the same purchase.

Great purchase! Only complaint is that one of the wheels popped off. It was an easy fix because they just snap back into place.

I bought this for storage at home. The trunk is beautiful but wheel placement isn’t easy and you can’t leave truck standing on one end...wheels make it unstable!The odor of plywood is very strong!
