This mask does actually keep space between my eyes and my pillow. It does shift a bit at night and I need to readjust the mask on my face occasionally. I have found this to be true with any mask I have tried and was hoping this one would be better. I also tried the Manta sleep mask which I felt put more pressure on my eyes than I expected, plus I was still getting my eyelashes crushed. The Manta mask did a better job of keeping light out. This mask does still let some light in around the nose, but not a lot. When the lights are out, it doesn't seem to make any difference. If my husband is reading and has the light on, I would need to adjust the mask and keep it in place or readjust. It does seem a little hot and it's winter now, so I wonder what it would feel like in the summer.All in all, it does the best job so far of the masks I have tried at giving my eyes space, so I will continue to use it. I have used it for about a week now.

While for many years, I have slept with sleep masks and scarves around my eyes to keep out the light, I chose this particular mask for a special reason. Since I had my cataract surgery, I found that I am tending to sleep on my right eye. This concerns me as the vision is then blurred for a short while after I awake. I had used the shield provided by the doctor to protect the eye directly after the surgery, but it is not comfortable and has to be taped down. He also provided a plastic frame -- like glasses without lenses -- to achieve the same task, but it was not comfortable and did not solve the light problem.Your frame has the unique feature of not resting on my eyes. It is built out, away from contact. That, and the air vent, make it especially desirable. Since using it, I have solved both the light problem and – perhaps even more important – avoided pressure in the eye during the night.

I tried this product a few times already, and it really does block out the light! Naturally, one would think this is good solely for sleeping, but it can be good for meditation as well. I engage in a practice called image streaming where one would recite the mental imagery going on inwardly, and an advanced method is to do it with eyes opened up. With this mask, I don’t have to worry about light messing with my focus to look at a point in that darkness to see the imagery to recite whether through dictation, or typing!I intend to purchase more of these in the near future. I saw some reviews of the product not matching the advertised image, but I was fortunate enough to get it as described; those unfortunate cases may just be a warehouse issue. There may be a slight gap of light that shows, but that just means you have to properly move the gap to place on the nose, and you should be fine.

I have VERY long eyelashes. That is my major gripe with sleep masks is that my eyelashes rub up against the mask. That is not a problem with this mask! It is cool and comfortable to wear. This would have been a 5-star review except that the band across the back of the mask is flimsy and made for big heads. I like the mask enough that I may just attach my own elastic band across the back. I will buy this again and recommend it to friends.

I Love everything about this sleep mask, except one thing, which I'll get to later.I love the overall quality, and the fact that when it's on, I can't see anything, except for a small bleed of light in coming through the nose-bridge area, and that's only during the day of course. The nose area is made of a softer more adjustable material, so you can scrunch it up to help reduce or eliminate the light-bleed entirely.So, what don't I like about this? Well, it keeps me bloody hot! The air vents don't do diddly, for me, and my face sweats like I was wearing boxing headgear! This makes it very uncomfortable for sleeping, and quite unfortunately, if a sleeping mask makes it difficult to sleep, it defeats its entire purpose! Maybe this isn't a fault of the manufacturer, as I live in the tropics and it gets pretty hot here. But, that's also why I bought a sleep mask with air vents. Turns out they don't do a thing in my climate. Maybe when I get air-conditioning I may feel different, and if so, I will update my review to reflect that. But until then, please be aware that if you live in a hot area, this mask will not make sleeping any better; find an alternative.

This sleep mask was a little bit surprising at first because it is formed and feels a bit hard. But, it is very comfortable, once you get used to it’s difference to traditional masks. It is velvety soft inside and forms well to the face, once adjusted. It stays away from the eyes, that is so important. I have been a sleep mask wearer for a long time, and you don’t want the mask pressing on your eyelids! The most important part, yes, it does keep the light OUT! And it stays put! The nose cloth makes that part more comfy, and helps with those sneaky light cracks close to the eyes! I think it works very well and will last a good long time! Good ZZZZZZZZZZ!

I was disappointed in this mask. The strap is made of cheap elastic which will give in time. There is no indication, on the Amazon page, that the strap is elastic. I do not have a small head size but I had to attach the strap with only 1/4 of the Velcro pad left to attach it. As the strap stretches, it will get too big. Also, fabric, used to block the light around the sides of the nose, is not enough to do so. It needs to come down further. I do not have a big nose. As for rating it for warmth, it is cool as it it is supposed to be.

The form is fantastic, it doesn't press on your eyelids at all. The bridge of the nose is well designed and blocks out the light well. The only reason I didn't put 5 stars is because while there are vents on the side and they do help... Not as much as I had hoped. I still sweat profusely and it makes me breakout. I am not sure if it is just me though as I tend to overheat at night no matter what I try.

Used everyday to help with sleep, even now with the elastic strap weakening, it still grips round. So definitely high quality and comfortable. Much better longevity than other sleeping masks.

But thinner and feels more flimsy than I had imagined. A bit of light leaks around the nose but most of it is blocked out.
